We are a globally recognized business celebrated for our tenacious full-service approach and relentless pursuit of industry dominance and excellence. &nbsp;At CDN, we understand that our employees are the biggest asset in our success, and we take great pride in selecting employees who are team oriented, driven and eager to succeed.&nbsp;Our growing company is currently looking to hire Journeyman and Sr. Instrumentation Technicians to join our team, in partnership with LNG Canada,&nbsp;based out of Kitimat, BC.&nbsp;This is a long term/local opportunity, with crew houses &amp; company vehicle available on a 28/7 shift with 2 years plus project trajectory. Travel and accommodations are provided in the interim, with the goal of permanent relocation.&nbsp;The ideal candidate will have experience in the Oil and Gas industry, a safety conscious mentality and are willing to learn and grow within CDN.&nbsp;AS OUR INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO:&nbsp;<ul><li>Support Journeyman and Apprentices in equipment maintenance, replacement, and installation.</li><li>Assist with calibrations and installations involving instrumentation tubing.</li><li>Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing tools.</li><li>Manage advanced calibration equipment (e.g., Hart Communicators).</li><li>Perform basic instrumentation tests and complete calibrations.</li><li>Use advanced meters for continuity, resistance, and voltage checks.</li><li>Work with systems such as compressor panels, RTUs, BMS, and production equipment.</li><li>Monitor gas, LEL, and fire detection sensors.</li><li>Safely work on live processes, including system isolation and depressurization.</li><li>Perform additional related duties as required.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:&nbsp;<ul><li>Journeyman Instrumentation Technician.</li><li>A valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract.</li><li>Valid First Aid, CSO, and CSTS.</li><li>Control system experience in Yokogawa, Hart Communications or Foundation Fieldbus is considered an asset.</li><li>Experience in the Oil and Gas industry in plant construction or plant maintenance is considered an asset.</li><li>Ability to work in various working conditions ranging from outdoors to indoors in a variety of weather conditions and working from heights as needed.</li><li>A pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required prior to employment.</li></ul>WHY CDN?Our goal is to ensure CDN is the best place for you to work.
