At this level, a Project Coordinator will begin internal facing and contribute to their team.</p><h2><strong>The Team</strong></h2><p>The waste management team is a dynamic and adaptive team committed to continuous improvement and best in class customer service.</p><h2><strong>Work Environment</strong></h2><p>The role of Project Coordinator is structured as a full-time position, working 5 days a week, 40-hours, with the potential for overtime depending on project requirements and deadlines.</p><p>The selected candidate will be <strong>required to live in Swift Current, SK.&nbsp;</strong></p><h2><strong>A Day in The Life</strong></h2><ul><li>Adhere to SECURE safety policies, coordinate with the Safety Department, and actively participate in safety meetings.</li><li>Assist in preparing estimates, interpreting tender documents, and conducting take-offs.</li><li>Collaborate with Procurement and internal teams (Legal, Finance, EHS) to ensure compliance with bidding and project setup processes.</li><li>Observe and assist with scheduling, planning activities, and perform administrative functions such as site documentation and supervisor folder creation.</li><li>Visit project sites to understand scope, supervise on-site personnel, and provide support as needed.</li><li>Track labour, equipment, and third-party costs daily; assist in progress invoicing and maintaining project tracking binders.</li><li>Identify risks, support risk mitigation strategies, and evaluate third-party contractors through ISNetworld.</li></ul><h2><strong>Skills, Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></h2><p>The successful candidate will have the following attributes:</p><ul><li>Recent college diploma or degree, preferably in an Environmental program or Engineering.</li><li>0-2 years discipline-related experience.</li><li>Strong computer skills with proficiency working with Microsoft Office suite.</li><li>Lead by example and commit to positively lead and influence the Secure Safety Culture.</li><li>Ability to work with multiple Project Managers/Coordinators on multiple contracts simultaneously.</li><li>Thrive for the challenge of a multi-discipline environment that changes quickly and requires accurate attention to details and solid commitment to follow through on tasks without direction.</li></ul><h2><strong>What's in it for you</strong></h2><p>At SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
