In this position, you will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule, 8-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.&nbsp;This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. We are a globally recognized business celebrated for our tenacious full-service approach and relentless pursuit of industry dominance and excellence. &nbsp;At CDN, we understand that our employees are the biggest asset in our success, and we take great pride in selecting employees who are team oriented, driven and eager to succeed.&nbsp;Our growing company is currently looking to hire a Combustion Technician / Class A Gass Fitter to join our Combustion and Emissions team,&nbsp;based out of our Grande Prairie&nbsp;office.&nbsp;&nbsp;The ideal candidate is experienced in the Oil and Gas industry, with a safety conscious mentality, and are willing to lean and grown within CDN.AS OUR COMBUSTION TECHNICIAN / CLASS A GAS FITTER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO:&nbsp;<ul><li>Adhere to all company Heath, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures set out by the HSE department.</li><li>Mentor all laborers with the maintenance, replacement, and installation of equipment.</li><li>Complete combustion and shut down reports including flame arrestor test reports.</li><li>Ability to install, maintain and fix a variety of equipment, burners and related components, such as: propane and natural gas fired heaters, Dehy’s, Tank Heaters, Re-Boilers, Salt Bath Heaters, Incinerators, and combustors, etc.</li><li>Prepare, plan and complete annual full emergency Shutdowns for fire heater testing.</li><li>Provide basic instrument services and venting on combustion and emissions equipment.</li><li>Provide commissioning start-up, testing, and tuning of units.</li><li>Complete required documentation and compliancy for CSA certification and governing bodies.</li><li>Complete Biennial Flame arrestor testing of fired heaters.</li><li>Provide Custom burner and emissions tuning.</li><li>Must have an ability to trouble shoot mechanical, electrical, instrument and combustion type issues in relation to the equipment.</li><li>Understand safety legislation, regulations and industry policies and practice for safe work procedures.</li><li>Can plan and execute projects to ensure proper manpower, materials and equipment are on site to complete the projects.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:&nbsp;<ul><li>Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean Drivers Abstract.</li><li>Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Testing.</li><li>H2S, First Aid Level C CPR &amp; AED, CSTS, CSO, TDG &amp; WHMIS.</li><li>Gasfitter – Class A</li><li>Previous experience in a trade such as Instrumentation, Electrical, Gas Fitting, Millwright, or a HVAC Technician in the Oil and Gas industry.</li></ul>WHY CDN?Our goal is to ensure CDN is the best place for you to work.
