Business Development / Sales / Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop growth and performance strategy for large opportunities.
  • Work with senior management to develop strategy, support, and business modeling.
  • Work with regional & local management to develop localized project specific strategies for identified projects.
  • Work with SCM leadership to develop inventory strategies for identified projects.
  • Includes Vallen go-to-market strategy, customer service and support and sales planning.
  • Growth in new locations, net new customers and share of wallet expansion of current customers.
  • Community -- With senior management, develop the criteria for community support including:
  • Build and support relations with targeted community groups.
  • Lead &/or support identified local community activities.
  • Local community, business groups. Identify and support of local community business requirements and business groups or associations, related to projects.
  • Sales - Drive customer & prospect interaction.
  • Assist local Territory Managers in finding and closing opportunities.
  • Assist national and local CSR's on support and growth modeling and performance requirements.
  • Coordinate North American sales opportunities with Vallen US & Mexico
  • Work with Category Managers to identify and develop growth and profit opportunities including:
  • Supplier identification & growth plans
  • Exclusive Brand development
  • Assist Sales Admin with the development of CRM, Power BI, etc. tools, including:
  • Project identification and sales opportunity
  • Contractor identification and planning
  • Performance detailing and KPI's
  • Contracts & Proposals -- Support with business proposals, RFI / RFP's and contracts.
  • Analysis and implementation of strategic pricing model(s) for products, and services.
  • Marketing - Work with Marketing on sales and market development tools including trade shows, literature, web applications, social media, etc.
  • Supply Chain Management -- Support SCM and local management teams on inventory projections and locations.
