Our Vancouver Road Construction Team is seeking a skilled Form Worker to join our construction team. The Form Worker plays a crucial role in the construction process by building and setting up forms to hold concrete in place for various structures. This position requires attention to detail, precision in measurement, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine form specifications.
• Measure and cut materials, such as lumber and plywood, to construct forms according to project requirements.
• Assemble and secure forms in place with nails, bolts, or screws, ensuring proper alignment.
• Pour and spread concrete into forms, smoothing and finishing surfaces using hand tools.
• Remove forms after concrete has set and clean and prepare them for reuse.
• Inspect forms and formwork to identify and repair any defects or damage.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.

Qualifications and Qualities:
• Previous experience working as a form worker or carpenter in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and hammers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and cutting materials.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures on construction sites.
