We are hiring energetic and responsible Electronics Technicians to join the team full-time based in Clairmont, Alberta.
BJ Energy offers an 8 days on/6 days off schedule as well as a 16 days on/12 days off schedule.
For apprentices, we provide paid time off to attend a technical school to reach the next level in your apprenticeship program.

Job Description:
- Repair, development and maintenance of electronics equipment for fracturing services, and operational support
- Work on a variety of process measuring equipment from various flow meters, pressure and temperature transmitters, to PLC driven control of a variety of engines, transmissions and pumps
- Interpret work orders and technical manuals on paper and in electronic based formats
- Keep organized maintenance reports and documentation
- Highly motivated self-starter able to work with little supervision
- Communicating directly with management, as well as field staff
- Able to work in shop, as well as perform field repairs as part of fracturing crew
- Work on call as required. Work additional overtime when necessary
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in Electronics Engineering Technology or Journeyman Instrumentation and Control Technician
- Basic IP network knowledge
- Various 4-20 and frequency sensor knowledge and experience
- PLC system and control knowledge
- Class 5 driver’s license: Clean driver’s abstract is required with no learner conditions
- Ability to perform hard manual labor
