Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Equipment Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As the Equipment Maintenance Coordinator you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and servicing of our maintenance shop, ensuring optimal performance and cost control, while minimizing downtime. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of maintenance practices will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our maintenance shop. Responsibilities:
- Complete equipment setup and status changes in SAP and complete forms for Finance Managers. (New/Transfers/Sold)
- Coordinate and implement the use of the PM scheduler for all equipment.
- Ensure all equipment master records are accurate.
- Ensure asset master is parallel with equipment master.
- Request and relay Certificates of Insurance as required.
- Review and correct Workflow/Basware exceptions and provide support to the rest of the division.
- Review and correct hour and odometer exceptions.
- Analyze and send out Monthly fuel report
- Ensure permits are current and relayed to the business
- Create and code Invoices (Equipment moves, etc.)
- Clear GR/IR variances.
- Participate in PM related Task Forces, process changes etc.
- Communicate new processes and procedures to SAP users.
- UAT Testing
- Review Divisional SAP data to identify areas/deficiencies that require attention.
- Ensure that Divisional Management receives reliable reports to manage their equipment maintenance in a timely manner.
- Providing ongoing communication with other EMI Coordinators to ensure consistent processes throughout the region.
- Providing support to all levels of management within SAP.
- Ensuring implementation and compliance with all Lafarge SAP Standard Operating Procedures.
- Switchboard relief.
- Provide status reports to Divisional and Regional management as required.
- Work closely with Vendors to resolve invoice and payment status issues.
- Clear GR/IR variances.
- Ensure credits have been received/processed
- Payroll relief (when Administrator is away)
- General housekeeping
- Safety compliance
- Monthly fuel reconciliations.
- Take initiative to correct errors identified.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in maintenance management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in heavy duty truck industry, administration, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with SAP, inventory management systems, and basic office applications.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in equipment maintenance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with maintenance technicians, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and respond to equipment maintenance emergencies as required.
