Field Technician

AMGAS Services US Inc. is a leading emission solution provider to the Oil and Gas Industry. For over 33 years, AMGAS has led the industry in H2S and noxious emission control, supplying a complete line of scrubbers and chemicals.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Field Technician/Operator to join our team in Midland, Texas (Big Springs area). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in chemical testing, equipment maintenance, and ensuring operational efficiency in the field.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in the oilfield is preferred.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Class 1 License is an asset.
• Current field tickets including H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSTS or PST, and HAZMAT.
• Valid Passport.
• High School Diploma.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and maintain physical fitness.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical testing as per standard procedures.
• Perform maintenance on H2S scrubbers and pumps to ensure optimal performance.
• Supervise the loading and offloading of chemical trucks
• Prepare and submit daily reports documenting activities and findings.
• Working on a rotation of two weeks on, one week off

This is a full-time position consisting of 12-hour shifts and weekend availability. All interested applicants are encouraged to apply, but only selected individuals will be contacted for interviews.
