Care Industries Ltd. manufacturers and repairs oilfield equipment; specializing in Service and Drilling Rigs for the domestic and international markets. We are currently looking for a reliable and self-motivated Journeyman/4th Year Heavy-Duty Shop/Field Mechanic to join our team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate service truck and complete field service calls
- Servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment infield
- Complete repairs, assembly, and inspections of all mechanical equipment
- Installation and testing of all hydraulic components
- Installation and testing of all electrical components
- Installation and testing of all pneumatic components
- Ability to work with customers and trouble shoot various systems
- Proper use of PPE and ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic maintenance skills
- Experience with related equipment and hand tools
- Ability to work independently or in a group setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn
- Committed to providing strong customer service
- Must be able to take direction and work efficiently in a fast-paced workenvironment
Education and Experience:
- Service Truck experience required
- Air Brake experience is an asset
- CVIP license is an asset
- Previous mechanical experience with oilfield equipment is an asset(Service/Drilling Rigs and auxiliary equipment)
- Registered Apprentice with minimum completion of third year schooling
- Registered Alberta Journeymen/or Interprovincial Red Seal
- Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
