Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician with pulp mill experience for a two-month position in Hinton, AB starting as soon as possible. In this position, you will enjoy a Monday to Thursday schedule, 10-hour workdays, living out allowance and up to 6 hours of travel pay for non-local applicants, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial or pulp mill setting.
  • Valid Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician certificate.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • H2S Alive
    • Standard First Aid
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Must have own reliable transportation to site.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
