
Maintenance Planner

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maintenance Planner mission is to improve the efficiency and productivity of planned maintenance activities including own personnel labour and third party maintenance services. This is mainly achieved by ensuring quality planning, cost effectiveness and optimization of all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. The planner drives equipment availability and reliability at the lowest optimum and sustainable maintenance cost, while collaborating with all involved departments and stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
- Manage the SAP PM Master data, creating the bill of materials (BOM), contribute to critical spare parts identification and definition of Material requirements planning (MRP). Tracks and follows on critical maintenance KPIs and SPIs.
- Drives the Area maintenance planning meeting, coordination and contributes to the commitment meetings.
- Review notifications, workload, define needs of third party services.
- Plan, review and optimize in SAP PM and Document Management System (DMS) all the PM01 corrective and PM02 preventive routines establishing tasks, frequencies, workload balancing. Optimize and distribute the workload in a 48-week span.
- Prioritize and generate preventive and corrective maintenance orders based on the results of monitoring. Prioritize with other departments preventive and corrective maintenance orders.
- Schedule weekly and daily maintenance plans, 13 weeks master plan and major shutdowns.
- Consolidate the details of major repairs. Lead the meetings for major shutdowns and their After Action Reviews.
- Generate and follow up purchase requests for materials, spare and wear parts, ensuring just in time delivery and optimization of NWC.
- Tracks the purchase requests and services of major shutdown/repairs and ensures their on-time arrival.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: University Degree
Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Engineering
Required Work Experience: minimum 5 years of preventive maintenance experience in an industrial setting
Required Technical Skills: SAP
Additional Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in definition and implementation of preventive maintenance programs and routines
- Experience applying FMEA techniques and knowledge of basic problem-solving tools
- Knowledge of cement production process
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
