Your Opportunity at SECURE
The Onsite Waste Representative is responsible for the complete oversight of various waste services projects, which may involve industrial cleaning, decommissioning, waste collection, remediation, or demolition. This role includes coordinating project aspects such as estimation, proposals, initiation, safety, profitability, invoicing, and client collections. The Onsite Waste Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for customers and is also responsible for business development and contract administration.

Work Environment
The role of Onsite Waste Representative is structured as a full-time position, working 5 days a week, 40-hours, with the potential for overtime depending on project requirements and deadlines.
The selected candidate will be required to live in Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, or Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia.
A Day in The Life
- Safety Management: Implementing and leading all safety policies and procedures for both SECURE and the client.
- Project Planning and Execution: Managing project schedules, setting objectives, overseeing site activities, and ensuring projects adhere to timelines and budgets.
- Financial Management: Handling invoicing, tracking costs, and ensuring financial accuracy.
- Client Interaction: Engaging with clients and ensuring client satisfaction, fostering strong two-way communication with clients and subcontractors to ensure compliance is maintained.
- Team Leadership: Manage subcontractors by coordinating schedules, ensuring quality standards, adhering to project timelines, and managing budgets.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- 5 years of related experience.
- Preferred but not required - College diploma or university degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications like PMP are preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage large teams and complex projects.
- Must be organized, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
- An ability to run heavy equipment is considered an asset.
