PAINT & SANDBLAST ASSISTANT

We are hiring a Paint & Sandblast Assistant to join our team. He/She/They will be responsible for assisting the Industrial Painter in day-to-day activities. Duties will include, but are not limited to, preparing and masking items for painting, sand blasting, painting items according to specific requirements, and maintaining a clean and organized area. Our working environment is a busy manufacturing facility. Some after-hours support and on-call duties may be required. This position requires being able to lift 50 lbs while handling materials and equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Industrial Painter in day-to-day activities.
2. Detailed preparation and masking of items for paint as required.
3. Responsible for sand blasting as required.
4. Painting desired items that follow the equipment requirements.
5. Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
7. Organization: Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple support requests simultaneously.
8. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others
9. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing technology and business requirements, with a willingness to learn and expand technical knowledge.
10. Able to lift 20kgs.
