Parts Runner

Our growing company is currently looking to hire a Parts Runner to join our Purchasing team, based out of our Grande Prairie, AB office.  The Parts Runner position is responsible to complete the daily parts and material pickups for the Purchasing department and other departments as required. Also, this position ensures the shop is in a clean safe and operating manner. The ideal candidate will have strong time management and communication skills and is interested in growing personally and professionally with us.

 As our Parts Runner, you will be responsible to: 

• Complete pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, and tools in a time efficient manner with proper communication with the warehouse staff
• Communicate with vendors regarding the pickup and delivery of parts as required.
• General shop maintenance and cleaning
• Receive materials and place in applicable location as directed by the warehouse staff.
• Assist with the set-up and take-down of monthly safety meetings.
• Complete regular shop, forklift, and truck inspections as required.
• Participate in the Valleyview run schedule as required. 
• Other projects or assignments as required. 

 Qualifications Required: 

• Valid Grade 12 Diploma
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Steel toed work boots
• Fork Lift Ticket
