We are currently seeking team members for full time Shop Hand / Labourer positions based at our Grande Prairie location.    We offer competitive industry wages, an excellent benefit program and RRSP matching program.

ABOUT YOU

Shop Hands must be mechanically inclined.   Testing and equipment maintenance experience would be an asset but is not necessary.

Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license

Must reside or have accommodations within 30 minutes of our Grande Prairie shop

  • Ability to follow direction and be interested in learning is required.
  • Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens are required for all Safety Sensitive Positions

MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Equipment maintenance and repair
  • Facility up-keep, maintenance, organization, including general housekeeping duties
  • General maintenance of shop tools, yard and vehicles
  • Some assembly work, which may require the operation of automated machinery, power/hand tools
  • Preparation of equipment for upcoming work
  • Load/unload trailers as required
  • Operation of skid steer and yard tractor to move equipment in and around the yard
  • Lifting of equipment and tools required, up to 50lbs
  • Demonstrate a commitment and accountability to uphold Colter’s strict safety standards
  • Perform any other general labour related tasks as directed by base management
