Your Opportunity at SECURE

SECURE is looking for an experienced, motivated and flexible Class 1 Driver near Fort McMurray, AB. The position consists of transporting materials and or equipment to and from various sites and material suppliers.

Work Environment

This position works a 6 days on 6 days off.  While on shift, camp accommodation will be provided near Conklin, AB. 

A Day in The Life

  • Daily pre-trip vehicle inspections
  • Operating roll off bins trucks
  • Operating a vehicle in and around construction sites
  • Picking up materials from suppliers
  • Manage challenging highways and weather conditions

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid Class 1 license, with a clean driver's abstract (must provide copy)
  • At least 3 years of experience operating various tractor trailer configurations
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Experience with highway driving in various weather conditions an asset
  • Valid Safety Tickets (H2S, First Aid, CSTS)
  • Completing daily log
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, that facilitate excellence in customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working within a team environment
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Good knowledge of roadways in the Fort McMurray area
