Lafarge Construction provides Construction services in the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas. Lafarge Construction is based in Edmonton, AB and is currently seeking a seasonal, full-time Water Truck Driver.

Position Description

  • The Water Truck Driver will be operating a tandem dump truck within the city of Edmonton. The accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Pre and post trip inspections.
  • Minor truck maintenance.
  • Haul various materials to and from site.
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner adhering to Safety policies and procedures
  • Other labour duties as required.


Qualifications:

  • The successful applicant will possess the following:
  • Minimum valid Class 3 Drivers License and Q Endorsement
  • Knowledge of the City of Edmonton an asset.
  • Knowledge of Construction an asset.


In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be expected to exercise sound judgment, work safely and communicate effectively in a team. This position is physically demanding and requires crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling. As such, clearance on a pre-employment medical is required. The successful candidate will have a proven record of following safe work procedures and be able to complete field risk assessments.
