Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships for the purpose of selling Argus’ custom manufacturing capabilities and services in North America and Overseas. Innovation and progress are achieved through valuing the ideas of our people, two-way communication, and being open to change. &nbsp;Please visit the ‘About Us’ and ‘Careers’ sections of our website to learn more.RESPONSIBILITIES:Role accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Sales&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Account&nbsp;Management:<ul><li>Identify&nbsp;key&nbsp;sales&nbsp;opportunities&nbsp;for&nbsp;Argus&nbsp;Machine&nbsp;through&nbsp;networking,&nbsp;building relationships,&nbsp;and&nbsp;market knowledge/ research.</li><li>Build&nbsp;and&nbsp;nurture&nbsp;productive customer&nbsp;relationships&nbsp;that&nbsp;show&nbsp;promise&nbsp;for&nbsp;Argus&nbsp;and&nbsp;our&nbsp;growth.</li><li>Utilize&nbsp;market&nbsp;research&nbsp;to&nbsp;identify&nbsp;and&nbsp;validate&nbsp;opportunities.&nbsp;Explore&nbsp;and&nbsp;analyze&nbsp;global&nbsp;markets&nbsp;while effectively managing risk.</li><li>Implement&nbsp;sales&nbsp;action&nbsp;plans&nbsp;for&nbsp;targeted&nbsp;markets&nbsp;and&nbsp;customers.&nbsp;Communicate&nbsp;actions&nbsp;and&nbsp;updates&nbsp;to&nbsp;the Sales Manager.</li><li>Monitor&nbsp;and&nbsp;report&nbsp;on&nbsp;sales&nbsp;opportunities&nbsp;and&nbsp;performance&nbsp;to&nbsp;established&nbsp;and&nbsp;published&nbsp;KPIs.</li><li>Manage account performance through open order reporting, meetings, and site visits.</li><li>Filter new quotation opportunities before they are provided to estimating, help set priorities as needed, and follow quotation queue to meet customer expectations.</li><li>Manage&nbsp;sales&nbsp;quotations,&nbsp;follow-ups,&nbsp;leads,&nbsp;and&nbsp;opportunities&nbsp;through&nbsp;Argus’&nbsp;ERP&nbsp;system.</li><li>Report&nbsp;weekly in&nbsp;writing&nbsp;on&nbsp;Sales&nbsp;activities and account performance&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Sales&nbsp;Manager,&nbsp;providing&nbsp;additional&nbsp;updates&nbsp;to&nbsp;Leadership&nbsp;as requested.</li><li>Identify&nbsp;new&nbsp;or&nbsp;expanded&nbsp;opportunities&nbsp;for&nbsp;revenue&nbsp;generation&nbsp;and&nbsp;strategic&nbsp;partnerships.</li><li>Develop/leverage&nbsp;successful&nbsp;long-term&nbsp;client&nbsp;relationships&nbsp;to&nbsp;sell&nbsp;additional&nbsp;products&nbsp;and&nbsp;services.</li><li>Perform&nbsp;presentations&nbsp;to&nbsp;audiences&nbsp;at&nbsp;all&nbsp;levels of&nbsp;industry,&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;field&nbsp;to&nbsp;E.P.C.s, End&nbsp;Users,&nbsp;and&nbsp;at conferences.</li><li>In&nbsp;conjunction&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;Senior&nbsp;Customer&nbsp;Service&nbsp;Representative,&nbsp;complete&nbsp;and&nbsp;respond&nbsp;to&nbsp;customer&nbsp;satisfaction&nbsp;surveys. Continuously monitor customer satisfaction levels and correct processes that are directly impacting negative feedback.</li><li>Define&nbsp;marketing requirements&nbsp;and&nbsp;provide&nbsp;input&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;development&nbsp;of&nbsp;marketing&nbsp;tools&nbsp;and&nbsp;trade&nbsp;show materials.</li><li>Maintain&nbsp;cohesive&nbsp;relationships&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;internal&nbsp;stakeholders,&nbsp;such&nbsp;as&nbsp;inside&nbsp;sales,&nbsp;engineering,&nbsp;production, procurement, and the senior leadership team.</li><li>Provide&nbsp;ongoing&nbsp;account&nbsp;management&nbsp;support&nbsp;to&nbsp;clients,&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;customer&nbsp;satisfaction.</li><li>Meet&nbsp;regularly&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;Sales&nbsp;Manager&nbsp;to&nbsp;analyze,&nbsp;discuss,&nbsp;and&nbsp;provide&nbsp;constructive&nbsp;feedback&nbsp;on&nbsp;sales&nbsp;performance. Provide input on market opportunities and future market development goals.</li><li>Accurately&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;a database&nbsp;(e.g.,&nbsp;CRM,&nbsp;Excel)&nbsp;of&nbsp;prospective/&nbsp;current&nbsp;customer&nbsp;information.</li></ul>Tools&nbsp;and&nbsp;Processes:<ul><li>Maintain&nbsp;a level of&nbsp;technical&nbsp;and&nbsp;product&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;in&nbsp;order&nbsp;to&nbsp;support&nbsp;customers effectively.</li><li>Adhere&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Quotation&nbsp;and&nbsp;follow-up&nbsp;process,&nbsp;ensuring that&nbsp;KPIs&nbsp;are&nbsp;met and that the effectiveness of the process is evaluated.</li><li>Ensure&nbsp;you&nbsp;are&nbsp;trained&nbsp;on&nbsp;and&nbsp;deliver&nbsp;Argus&nbsp;Standard&nbsp;Operating&nbsp;Procedures&nbsp;(SOP)&nbsp;and&nbsp;processes&nbsp;for&nbsp;the department.&nbsp;Identify opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Utilize PowerBI and Dynamics AX to understand account activity and performance to budget.</li></ul><h2>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:</h2><ul><li>Technical&nbsp;training&nbsp;or&nbsp;post-secondary&nbsp;education&nbsp;in&nbsp;Business&nbsp;Management&nbsp;is&nbsp;preferred.</li><li>Minimum&nbsp;10&nbsp;years&nbsp;of&nbsp;experience&nbsp;in&nbsp;sales &amp;&nbsp;marketing,&nbsp;preferably&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;Manufacturing&nbsp;environment,&nbsp;with proven results.</li><li>Demonstrated&nbsp;strong&nbsp;interpersonal,&nbsp;communication,&nbsp;organizational&nbsp;and&nbsp;Project&nbsp;Management&nbsp;skills.</li><li>Strong&nbsp;leadership&nbsp;and&nbsp;training&nbsp;skills&nbsp;are&nbsp;required&nbsp;to&nbsp;articulate&nbsp;Argus'&nbsp;vision, goals,&nbsp;and&nbsp;corporate&nbsp;objectives&nbsp;to&nbsp;our Distribution Partners Network.</li><li>Able&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;effectively&nbsp;with&nbsp;internal&nbsp;and&nbsp;external&nbsp;customers.</li><li>Competent&nbsp;in&nbsp;using&nbsp;Microsoft&nbsp;Office&nbsp;Suite,&nbsp;Adobe,&nbsp;computer&nbsp;software&nbsp;related&nbsp;to&nbsp;business&nbsp;operations&nbsp;(ERP)&nbsp;and CRM systems.</li><li>Working&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;Microsoft&nbsp;AX&nbsp;preferred.</li><li>General knowledge of products and services in the oil and gas industry.</li></ul><h2>WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</h2><ul><li>This is an&nbsp;in-office&nbsp;position requiring&nbsp;extended&nbsp;sitting&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;computer&nbsp;use.</li><li>Working&nbsp;wearing&nbsp;personal&nbsp;protective&nbsp;as&nbsp;required.</li><li>Approximately 60% of the role will be spent traveling.</li></ul> At Argus, our core values are more than just words, they’re a way of life.
