Dycor Technologies&nbsp;is currently seeking a full-time permanent Technical Sales Representative&nbsp;to work with our growing team in&nbsp;Edmonton, AB.Reporting to the General Manager of Dycor Technologies, this position will be responsible for selling the products manufactured and distributed by Dycor such as wireless data products, data acquisition and sensor products, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), integrated panels for general purpose and hazardous locations, as well as custom designed solutions. This position evaluates and brings new business opportunities for Dycor.Dycor offers a competitive compensation package, including a RRSP match program, dental care, vision care, and extended health care.Work Conditions:<ul><li>Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day</li><li>Travel within Western Canada required</li><li>Flexible work hours available</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Seek new customers in Western Canada, focused on the commercial, municipality, oil and gas sector as well as other market sectors.</li><li>Build and maintain positive relationships with existing customers.</li><li>Identify the needs of each customer and recommend cost effective, commercial off the shelf or customized solutions for all related data acquisition and control, sensor, and wireless data communication products and services.</li><li>Recommend product improvements and development strategy to improve market penetration</li><li>Develop a marketing strategy complete with KPI’s for expansion of our customer base and market share</li><li>Participate in budget plans and maintenance.</li><li>Coordinate with Engineering staff to ensure that customers’ expectations are met.</li><li>Source additional off the shelf products and/or recommend the development of custom designed products to increase Dycor’s product/service mix.</li><li>Support the ongoing creation and modification of marketing materials, both print and on-line based.</li><li>Provide technical support to customers as required.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>3+ years' direct sales experience in an industrial, technical environment, preferably within the municipality, commercial and oil and gas industries.</li><li>Available to travel within Western Canada on a regular basis.</li><li>Experience in the oil and gas industry is a definite asset.</li><li>Technical background in wireless data communications and/or data acquisition systems is an asset</li><li>A technical certificate or diploma in electrical/electronic or instrumentation technology is an asset</li><li>Previous SCADA experience including field (RTU's and flow computers) and host systems is an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of data acquisition systems and wireless communication systems is an asset.</li><li>Broad understanding of telemetry, protocol communications and data integration techniques is an asset.</li><li>Ability to interact effectively with Engineering staff and non-technical customers alike.</li><li>Self-motivated, possessing good organizational abilities, with ability to work independently.</li><li>Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.</li></ul>Dycor Technologies Inc. is a control and data acquisition company for Environmental Monitoring, Geotechnical applications, Emerging and Traditional Energy, and remote communications.
