Job Summary:Reporting to the&nbsp;Sr. Manager, Data and Analytics, the Sr. Data &amp; Analytics Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytical solutions to support business decision-making. This role involves a blend of data engineering, data science and analytical skills to ensure data quality, accessibility, and actionable insights.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Collaborate with business leads, other internal IT teams and data analysts to understand requirements and translate them into actionable solutions</li><li>Develop and maintain scalable data and analytics solutions that align with business, technical and enterprise architecture objectives.</li><li>Participate in the technical implementation of data &amp; analytics solutions, ensuring quality, scalability, timeliness and performance.</li><li>Design and Implement Data Pipelines: Create scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, PySpark notebooks, Spark SQL, and Python. This includes data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes</li><li>ETL Processes: Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from diverse sources, transform it into suitable formats, and load it into data warehouses or analytical systems</li><li>Implement and optimize semantic models to enhance data accessibility and performance.</li><li>Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models to address business challenges and improve decision-making processes.</li><li>Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data engineering, AI/ML and cloud platforms to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.</li><li>Monitor and fine-tune the data platform to enhance performance and efficiency, especially for large-scale data sets</li><li>Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes and maintaining high levels of system reliability and user satisfaction.</li><li>Ensure Compliance and Standardization in Reporting: Implement and follow governance policies and standards for reporting and analytics throughout the analytics process</li><li>Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices and methodologies.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years proven experience</li><li>Cloud Solutions Expert, experienced with tools such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, API’s and Power BI.</li><li>Proficiency in creating complex data models and generating reports using Power BI.</li><li>Strong SQL and database management skills.</li><li>Big Data Tools, expert at scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Apache Spark, MLFlow) for automation, ETL and integrations</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Excellent presentation and communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to manage priorities through demand planning</li><li>Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions, meeting timelines</li></ul>#IND1You and UFA.
