The Coiled Tubing Supervisor will be a member of the Coiled Tubing Department responsible for helping oversee the day to day field operational requirements for the Coiled Tubing Service Line including but not limited to field safety compliance, supervision of Coiled Tubing Operators and Equipment Management. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:<ul><li>Prevent accidents and other incidents from occurring using extensive field knowledge</li><li>Provide effective communication on crew, equipment, and job related information to management in the District</li><li>Share ideas for continuous improvement and training initiatives with management</li><li>Ensure field employees’ adherence to operational policies and procedures to achieve safety objectives</li><li>Interact with the customer and third party providers to supply troubleshooting and service line solutions</li><li>Interact with Dispatch and third party providers to ensure smooth flow of resources to and from locations</li><li>Conduct regular audits of safety critical processes (e.g. pre-trip inspections, DOT logs, etc.)</li><li>Provide HSE technical support to field crews and management as needed</li><li>Lead post incident and accident investigation in conjunction with the HSE team along with identifying potential hazard ID’s with thorough follow up</li><li>Handle assigned crew employee inquiries, including but not limited to vacation requests, training courses, and PPE allowances</li><li>Supervise and manage assigned crew, equipment assignments, and schedules to meet customer requirements to achieve the corporate mandate of “Service First"</li><li>Complete service orders and billing paperwork for customers with a high attention to detail</li><li>Assist in recruiting activities which may include attending job fairs with recruitment team and interviewing potential field applicants when required</li><li>Maintain all required safety and legislated certifications and courses</li></ul> KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:<ul><li>Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and verbal and written communication skills - must be able to interact effectively and work comfortably with customer, field, branch, head office staff and senior management</li><li>Strong leadership, mentoring and delegation skills</li><li>Flexible to work a variety of shifts (shift work, day shift, night shift)</li><li>Able to follow, and enforce safe work procedures, codes, and regulations.</li><li>Energetic self-starter with the ability to work in a dynamic environment</li><li>Able to handle multiple tasks by prioritizing and maintaining a high attention to detail</li><li>Able to adapt to a variety of environmental factors and extreme weather conditions while performing operational requirements</li><li>Work and inspire others to work at high performance levels</li><li>Experience making decisions but having the ability to ask for help and guidance from supervisor while maintaining composure, in high pressure situations</li><li>Able to maintain routine logs with a high attention to detail</li><li>Able to operate process control equipment</li><li>Basic mechanical skills</li><li>This position is considered to be a Safety Sensitive Position and may require additional screening</li><li>This position has bona fide physical requirements and may require additional screening (please refer to the applicable Physical Demands Profile)</li></ul>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>High school Diploma or GED preferred</li><li>Valid Class 1 Drivers License or equivalent required</li><li>Satisfactory Drivers Abstract required</li><li>5 – 7 years of progressive Coiled Tubing Service Line experience</li><li>Previous leadership experience required</li><li>Fracturing knowledge is considered an asset</li></ul> We would like to thank all applicants for applying to this role but only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
