Our unwavering dedication to deliver superior services defines us as Western Canada’s best provider of electrical &amp; instrumentation maintenance and major projects construction, industrial renewable/solar, automation, communications, fabrication, combustion &amp; emissions reduction, and measurement services.&nbsp; &nbsp;Our past successes, present opportunities, and future potential are fuelled by the investments we make: investments in our people, our partners, and our products.Join us and see why our commitment, determination, and our backbone of ambition are wrapped in three letters: CDN.Right now, we are looking to hire a People and Culture Assistant to join our team,&nbsp;based out of our Calgary&nbsp;office.&nbsp;&nbsp;The ideal candidate&nbsp;is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a positive work environment.AS OUR PEOPLE &amp; CULTURE ASSISTANT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO:&nbsp;<ul><li>Provide administrative support to the People &amp; Culture team with all their project initiatives and onboarding of new hires, including conducting new employee reviews.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate routine employment changes and associated documentation, including transitioning employees to contractors and processing internal changes.</li><li>Enter employee data and changes into the HRIS system, ensuring integrity of HR data and consistency between systems.</li><li>Support learning and development initiatives for the organization.</li><li>Assist in administering the organization’s apprenticeship programs, including assisting employees through the apprenticeship journey and seeking opportunities for the company to indenture new talent into the trades.</li><li>Administer the employee referral program to effectively promote opportunities through our current employee base; track employee referral bonuses for payment.</li><li>Conduct exit interviews with all employees offboarding.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in recruitment and employment events, as required.</li><li>Contribute to the development of documentation, templates and reports to support the People &amp; Culture function.</li><li>Continually look for ways to optimize and improve talent acquisition and human resources processes, programs and policies, in collaboration with the People &amp; Culture team.</li><li>Assist with regular research and compliance initiatives regarding human resources, payroll and employment standards regulations.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:&nbsp;<ul><li>1-2 years’ experience in a similar human resources administrative role, preferably in the oil &amp; gas industry.</li><li>Solid expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Experience with HRIS systems is an asset.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to maintain and preserve strict confidentiality.</li><li>Superior attention to detail combined with excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work with a sense of urgency.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities, manage ambiguity, and collaborate effectively with diverse personalities.</li></ul>WHY CDN?We are driven by values, fuelled by performance, and obsessed to impress.
