St. John&nbsp;office.&nbsp;&nbsp;The ideal candidate has experience&nbsp;managing vehicle and tool preventive maintenance programs and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and government regulations are maintained and followed.&nbsp;AS OUR FLEET AND RENTAL COORDINATOR, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO:&nbsp;<ul><li>Track fleet and tool usage and maintain accurate inventory of equipment.</li><li>Track and maintain accurate records for fuel logs and km travelled monthly.</li><li>Schedule and track preventative maintenance and calibrations of tools and fleet.</li><li>Assist in the development of a maintenance budget by providing input relative to policy, maintenance costs, depreciation, and other established metrics.</li><li>Ensure the maintenance records for fleet and tools are accurate and up to date.</li><li>Negotiate service agreements to ensure cost efficiencies.</li><li>Communicate maintenance requirements to ensure maximum efficiency and implement correction actions as required.</li><li>Create and input purchase orders to the applicable software system.</li><li>Complete pick-up and delivery of tools/fleet as required.</li><li>Order and schedule fleet and rental equipment when necessary.</li><li>Complete hazard identification and assessment on an ongoing basis.</li><li>Assist with the completion of incident reports and incident associated costs.</li><li>Maintain organization and safety within the shop environment.</li><li>Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:&nbsp;<ul><li>Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.</li><li>Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Fleet Management software skills.</li><li>Available to work Monday-Friday with the occasional weekend as required.</li><li>&nbsp;Working knowledge and understanding of Motor Vehicle Act, Transport Regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.</li><li>&nbsp;Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a variety of time sensitive tasks.</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate a high level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning skills.</li></ul>WHY CDN?We are driven by values, fuelled by performance, and obsessed to impress. They work as trusted partners, creating better solutions and experiences for their customers, communities, and colleagues.Purpose: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining safe, effective and efficient operation of the plant warehouses.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.</li><li>Ensures high standards of safety, housekeeping and organization.</li><li>Ensures Holcim environmental policies are followed in area of responsibility.</li><li>Work closely with Supervisor to coordinate warehouse activities and collaborates with Maintenance on order fulfillment.</li><li>Procure materials and supplies as directed following established Holcim policy and procedure.</li><li>Entering work notifications to support the warehouse needs.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate resolution of procurement and inventory discrepancies.</li><li>Work with approved vendors to ensure quality service and deliverables are maintained.</li><li>Assists in control and monitoring of inventory for accuracy thru cycle counting.</li><li>Ensure orderly and proper storage and identification of parts and supplies.</li><li>Assist in parts staging/kitting as required for outages/projects/jobs.</li><li>Utilize the MRP to ensure parts ordered in timely fashion. &nbsp;</li><li>Manage VMI/consumables area.</li><li>Assist Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating with Area Planners/Maintenance Supervisors to ensure reliability and accountability of parts.</li><li>Support the plant with lead times on parts as well as emergency/expedite orders.</li><li>Work with Maintenance on conversion of direct charge to material numbers.</li><li>Serve as back-up to Supervisor when required in order to maintain consistent service to plant.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Required Education: High School diploma/GED, post-secondary school an asset</li><li>2-3 years experience in a warehouse or industrial environment</li><li>Strong communication&nbsp;skills.</li><li>Strong computer literacy skills.</li><li>Exhibits leadership qualities; coaching, organizational and problem solving skills. Previous leadership experience an asset.</li><li>Experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) purchasing and inventory control functionality or other e- based business management systems.</li><li>Position is dynamic and offers opportunity to exercise/develop problem solving, continuous improvement and leadership skills.
