You would be responsible for providing customer assistance in accordance with the position requirements and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for growth of assigned customers in conjunction with Strategic Account Manager, Business Development Managers and local Territory Managers.</li><li>Developing new business from leads as well as providing leads to others on our team, will be expected.</li><li>Ability to transact a large volume of sales while maintaining a high accuracy rate.</li><li>Deal and follow through on customer inquiries and complaints.</li><li>Work with vendors to attain, On Time delivery dates, and adjust vendor processes to meet the needs of your customers.</li><li>Investigate and track orders, transfers and purchase orders to completion.</li><li>Maintain an expedite report to minimum 9% accuracy, daily.</li><li>Participate with Internal groups to build large RFP's and proposals.</li><li>Continued upgrade of product knowledge. Vendor sessions, on-line, and constant research and self-development a must.</li><li>Read, understand, and follow Vallen's health, safety, and environment policies and all applicable OH&amp;S legislation/regulations.</li><li>Actively participate in Vallen's health and safety management system, including training, audits, assessments, safety meetings, and inspections.</li><li>Identify, control, and report workplace hazards including following WHMIS/TDG requirements and reporting near misses.</li><li>Report workplace injuries immediately and participate in any return-to-work programs or requirements.</li><li>Be fit for duty and physically capable of performing all required tasks.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>At Least 3 years' Experience in safety, MRO and industrial distribution.</li><li>An ability to transact a large volume of orders efficiently.</li><li>Broad exposure to the various inventory systems.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to work in dependently and as a group.</li><li>Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Position Summary:Reporting to the Lead, Support Services, the Senior Support Services Representative (SSSR) is responsible for resolving support requests from internal and external customers. The SSSR is directly accountable for responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner within a team-driven and fast-paced work environment. The primary role of this position is to exceed customers’ expectations with a superior service experience.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:<ul><li>Use expert product and system knowledge to provide customer support and respond to escalated issues.</li><li>Assist with escalated customer queries that may require further investigation and time to resolve. Resolve product or service queries by determining the root cause, identify the best solution to solve the problem and expedite the resolution.</li><li>Act as SME on key business procedures across all systems, identifying areas of opportunity; collaboration with the business, IT, and the support leads on continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Support and execute testing, as required, on UFA systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain issues and cases by updating relevant information.</li><li>Provide remote support to the UFA network on approved policies, processes, procedures, site and customer interaction related systems and controls as they relate to end user administrative functions, across all channels.</li><li>Ensure Knowledge Articles are current and complete.</li><li>Create customer leads by recording customer information into the CRM system.</li><li>Provide support to programs that are ‘in market’ with our customers including the processes to execute at our locations.</li><li>Support new and existing customer/business programs, the launch of new of SOPs and the rollout and maintenance of systems.</li></ul>Qualifications required for the position:<ul><li>Diploma in Business Management or other related discipline Diploma.</li><li>7+ years of customer service experience including 3 - 5 years of progressive experience working in a customer service center position.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office.</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills.
