Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electronics Technician - Journeyperson will focus on the repair and maintenance of all Calfrac equipment to company standards.OUR CULTURE: Calfrac, we believe in being an integral part of the communities where we operate and we support a variety of giving activities throughout the year. Our support falls under two main areas: volunteering or donation. Whenever possible, the initiatives and organizations we undertake to promote and support fall into the following categories: Environment, Education, Indigenous, Social Services, Arts &amp; Culture and Community Sport. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:<ul><li>Work safely in accordance with all company safety policies, procedures, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements</li><li>Repair and maintain all Calfrac electrical equipment and components</li><li>Maintain all recording and control software</li><li>Updates and modification requests</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis</li><li>Assist in scheduling and costs for repairs</li><li>Assist in mentoring apprentices and new employees</li><li>Develop a base understanding of fracturing and coiled tubing operations</li><li>Must attend all pre job meetings and attend safety meetings when required</li><li>Remote field work may be required</li></ul> KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:<ul><li>Flexible to work a variety of shifts (shift work, night shift, day shift)</li><li>Follow and enforce safe work procedures, codes, and regulations</li><li>Energetic self-starter, able to work in a dynamic environment</li><li>Able to handle multiple tasks by prioritizing and maintain a high level of attention to detail</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Work and inspire others to work at high performance levels</li><li>Work under physically demanding circumstances</li><li>Able to write reports and work closely with maintenance administration personnel</li><li>Experience making immediate decisions, while maintaining composure, in high pressure situations with minimal supervision</li><li>Able to operate process control equipment</li><li>Must be mechanically inclined</li><li>This position is considered to be a Safety Sensitive Position and may require additional screening</li><li>This position has bona fide physical requirements and may require additional screening (please refer to the applicable Physical Demands Profile)</li></ul> EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>Accredited technical diploma in the Electronics or Instrumentation field or completion of Journeyman Instrumentation Certification</li><li>4-6 years of relevant experience</li><li>Advanced understanding of technical concepts is required.</li><li>Good understanding and experience with basic hydraulic systems</li><li>Experienced with electric over hydraulic / air and PLC is considered an asset</li><li>Knowledge of electronic control systems, QA-QC, and troubleshooting &nbsp;</li></ul>We would like to thank all applicants for applying to this role but only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. &nbsp;
