POSITION SUMMARYThe Site Administrator presents a positive and professional image of Strike to all clients, suppliers, associates, callers and office visitors. Administrators maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality in all interactions.Employees are expected to support and participate in a “culture of safety” and adhere to and be ambassadors of Strike’s Code of Conduct and Values, and to treat others with dignity, respect, and fairness.POSITION DETAILS<ul><li>Project located in Brooks, AB</li><li>5-month duration&nbsp;</li></ul>CORE&nbsp;ACCOUNTABILITIES<ul><li>General Administration/Communication:&nbsp;Represent Strike in person, on the phone and through electronic communications.</li><li>Payroll:&nbsp;Create detailed on-site time tickets to be approved and signed by supervisor &amp; client.</li><li>Controls:&nbsp;Track and maintain progress tracking tools and curves; Establish and maintain Trend/Change order log; Verify budget revisions, trends, and change orders prior to Project Management sign off; Project reporting (tracking of baseline versus actual vs. forecast) for Management/Client review</li><li>Purchasing:&nbsp;Issue purchase orders, track incoming invoices and ensure alignment with job/project costs.</li><li>Camp:&nbsp;Book rooms for incoming personnel and report on camp numbers to management and clients.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Experience within the oil field and or construction industry is considered an asset.</li><li>Microsoft Excel experience</li></ul>APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES&nbsp;<ul><li>Willing to take the initiative and work independently</li><li>Be open-minded and eager to be challenged</li><li>Possess a problem solving and critical thinking attitude</li><li>Effective written, oral and peer-to-peer communication skills</li><li>Detail oriented work ethic</li><li>Willing to take directions from team members</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively with peers</li><li>High energy and positive individual</li></ul>Why work for Strike:Based in Western Canada with a head office in Calgary, Alberta, we provide energy and industrial construction and maintenance services across the largest geographical area in Canada.&nbsp;At Strike we continuously demonstrate leadership, drive, creativity, and initiative.
