<h2>Job Description</h2>The Wellchek Operator in Grande Prairie, Alberta will assist in the inspection and repair of used tubular goods and is responsible for pipe handling, cleaning and inspection and repair of used tubular goods, including drill pipe.Essential Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>This position is responsible for conducting the inspection of production tubing at customer well-sites in a safe and efficient manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for all duties associated with the operation of the Used Tubing Wellchek Inspection Unit, including the everyday operation, maintenance, size change-over, and calibration/standardization of the unit.&nbsp;</li><li>You will review and interpret the data generated by the inspection equipment and grade the pipe per applicable specifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsibilities also may include supervising and coordinating the work of a Crewman, as well as liaising with onsite customer representatives in a professional manner.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Ensure the WellChek Unit is maintained to company standards, including all calibration and unit safety logs.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform required Used Tubing Wellchek Inspection Unit maintenance and repair and will coordinate the ordering of the unit inspection equipment, parts, and supplies with the appropriate supervisor.
