<h2>Full job description</h2>Great North Wellhead &amp; Frac (A Dril-Quip Company) is actively searching for Field Service Technicians, I/II/III - Frac Projects for our MWFC Division (Multi-well Plug and Perf and Frac Missile) in Clairmont.Schedule: 15 days on/6 days off (14 Hour days)Location: ClairmontWage: $28-$40, based off experienceType: Full TimeWhat we offer:<ul><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>RRSP match</li><li>Life &amp; Disability Insurance</li></ul>Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Installation, operation, removal, and repair of multi-well fracturing systems, hydraulics systems, grease delivery systems, and wellhead components.</li><li>Perform Valve Repair and scheduled maintenance</li><li>Repair, assemble, test, maintain tools, and customer equipment</li><li>Maintain all Great North Wellhead &amp; Frac property, including truck, service tools, phone, computers, etc. in a clean and organized state.</li><li>Prepare detailed Job Safety Analysis (JHA's)</li><li>Comply with all Company Health, Safety, &amp; Quality Policies</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned by management or indicated by responsibilities.</li></ul>Job Requirements:<ul><li>Wellhead/Frac Experience 1-4 years required</li><li>Gate Valve knowledge / repair experience considered and asset</li><li>Valid class 5 license and ability to be insured commercially</li><li>H2S, First Aid and CSO certifications are an asset</li><li>Fall Arrest and Aerial platform certifications an asset</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.</li><li>Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety.</li><li>Service Oriented &amp; problem-solving skills</li><li>Must communicate effectively, both written and verbal.</li><li>Computer skills considered an asset; DISCORD, Excel</li><li>Willingness to travel and assist in other branch locations.</li><li>Must meet the physical demands and requirements of the job on a regular and consistent basis: This role involves regularly lifting 50lbs, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, walking and/or sitting for extended periods of time. The expectations for fast and professional service will be the highest as you will be the face-to-face representative and contact with our customers in the field.The ideal candidate will have a variety of maintenance and repair skills related to buildings, from carpentry (no certification required) to basic plumbing and electrical. They will also have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work within a team and independently. Previous camp/modular building maintenance and repair experience is a strong asset.Duties &amp; ResponsibilitiesMaintenance &amp; Repair:<ul><li>Perform maintenance and repairs on our rental fleet – includes surface rental and accommodation equipment both in our yard and on customer sites, including:<ul><li>Set up and tear out of camps, well sites, and sleepers</li><li>Plumbing repairs</li><li>Heating and HVAC repairs</li><li>Electrical repairs</li><li>Carpentry repairs</li><li>Finishing work</li><li>Satellite wiring and set up</li><li>Oil changes and servicing of Generators and other mechanical equipment</li></ul></li><li>Operating heavy Equipment In the yard</li><li>Track all tools assigned to the company truck</li><li>Track rental equipment using computer programs</li><li>Ensure the truck assigned is clean and in working order</li><li>Complete appropriate paperwork related to assigned work</li><li>Document and upload all safety work</li><li>Follow all Black Diamond’s policies and procedures, including safety policies</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li><li>Other duties as required</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Must have valid H2S, Standard First Aid, &amp; Fall Arrest</li><li>Self-motivated, and high attention to detail</li><li>Must have valid non-GDL driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory driver abstract</li><li>Must be able to pass pre-employment and site access drug tests when required</li><li>Previous camp/modular building maintenance experience and technical ability to carry out work orders</li><li>Mechanical Skills are an asset</li><li>Knowledge of and capability to complete tasks relating to general painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating systems, and site maintenance.</li><li>Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.</li><li>An ability to communicate professionally with clients, staff, and management.</li></ul>Working Conditions<ul><li>Working inside and outside in all weather conditions</li><li>Frequent travel to customer sites</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions</li><li>Must be able to complete physically demanding duties, including but not limited to standing for long periods, repetitive movement, and lifting</li><li>Working at heights required for repair work</li></ul>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer&nbsp;Black Diamond Group Limited is committed to diversity, equal opportunity and ensuring that our employees have the ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.
