Job Summary&nbsp;The Field Service Supervisor is primarily responsible to support and mentor the Operations team by acting as front-line field support. They will be required to plan and execute high profile operations, with a focus on primary excellence and job quality. As a supervisor in the operation, they will be required to run all bottom hole assemblies in any area that NCS performs work. This position is liner hanger specific.&nbsp;Key Areas of Responsibility&nbsp;<ul><li>Responsible for operation, proper configuration of downhole tools for intended job and well design&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure that operational specifications (limits) of the down hole tools are not exceeded&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures down hole tools and equipment are configured correctly for intended job&nbsp;</li><li>Liaise between cement services and energy company to ensure job success&nbsp;</li><li>Provides front-line support for customer with a high degree of professionalism&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate and work with customers, rig, cementers and other third-party personnel&nbsp;</li><li>Accurately complete job reports create tool assembly schematics, and field service orders upon completion of job in a timely manner&nbsp;</li><li>Report any non-conformance in a timely manner&nbsp;</li><li>Convey information and job details to co-workers at the end of each shift&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare equipment for each specific job&nbsp;</li><li>All NCS tools and equipment looked after in a professional manner</li><li>Help to promote safe work practices and higher standards of performance&nbsp;</li><li>Support and uphold HS&amp;E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required&nbsp;</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities&nbsp;<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent; preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Technical Certificate/Diploma or Degree; preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of 8-12 years of experience on drilling rig and or tool experience; required&nbsp;</li><li>Industry related experience including; running Liner Hangers, Permanent Packers, Airlocks or Floatation collars, Toe Ports, Ball Drop systems and Sleeve systems in an Open Hole or Cemented Applications&nbsp;</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites; Excel with experience building tallies&nbsp;</li><li>Work with other teams, and exhibit effective communication&nbsp;</li><li>Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to understand the importance of documentation&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent judgement, ability to plan ahead, high level of efficiency &amp; work ethic&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, manage priorities&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to handle stressful situations&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to perform job responsibilities in all weather conditions&nbsp;</li><li>Perform physical labour when necessary, in addition to standing or travelling for long periods of time&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to move or lift 25lbs – 50lbs&nbsp;</li><li>Valid Driver’s license; required&nbsp;</li></ul>Pre-Engagement Requirements:&nbsp;Due to the safety-sensitive nature of the work and its associated responsibilities, all contractors must meet the following pre-engagement requirements:Completion of both a drug and alcohol screening, as well as a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) criminal check, is mandatory before any work can begin. These screenings will be arranged by the company and must be successfully passed for the contract to proceed.If you have a prior conviction, the CPIC check will return as incomplete, at which point an RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check will be required. As obtaining an RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check can take considerable time, we strongly recommend initiating the process as early as possible to avoid delays. The RCMP Check must be issued within the last 30 days and provided at your own expense before the contract can commence.Please note that the Contractor agreement is contingent upon the successful completion of all required screenings. Additionally, all documents outlined in the Master Service Agreement (MSA) must be submitted before any work can begin. Failure to meet these requirements may result in a delay or cancellation of the contract.
