These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Develops a year plan for its own department. Is involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working. Contributes to plan of larger unit.&nbsp; As a Machinery Diagnostic Engineer, you will be responsible for:Diagnosing machinery faults based upon vibration data and customer problem descriptionsBalancing rotating equipment including turbomachinery, pumps, motors, and fansWriting technical reports providing conclusions and recommendations for customer equipment following each assignment.Building relationships with customers to provide a high level of service and become their trusted advisor for rotating equipment healthApplying Health, Safety and Environment (HS&amp;E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure complianceTraveling to customer sites to provide supporting service, reliably managing cost and schedulePreparing invoices and documents, ensuring compliance with an internal documentation systemBeing a good custodian of company assets including tools and instrumentationCarrying instrumentation and equipment up to 50 pounds in weightPrioritizing work to achieve business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Proposing performance improvement and action plansFuel your passion &nbsp; To be successful in this role you will:&nbsp;Have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical recommended) from an accredited college or university (or 10+ years of applicable industry experience)Complete 3+ years of industry experience in either the Power Generation, Chemical Production, Refining, Metallurgical, or other similar industriesDisplay an advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with rotating equipment found throughout the Power Generation, Chemical Production, Refining, Metallurgical, or other similar industriesBe able to communicate complex technical information to customers and stakeholdersHave ability to work independently and be able to identify and drive process improvementsBe able to travel regionally to work with customers on-site up to 80% of the time&nbsp;Have a passport (or be able to obtain a passport) and hold a driver’s licenseDemonstrate a proactive approach to work and flexibility to adapt to ever-changing conditions under new challengesWork in a way that works for you &nbsp; We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
