Our unwavering dedication to deliver superior services defines us as Western Canada’s best provider of electrical &amp; instrumentation maintenance and major projects construction, industrial renewable/solar, automation, communications, fabrication, combustion &amp; emissions reduction, and measurement services.&nbsp; &nbsp;Our past successes, present opportunities, and future potential are fuelled by the investments we make: investments in our people, our partners, and our products.Join us and see why our commitment, determination, and our backbone of ambition are wrapped in three letters: CDN.Our growing company is currently looking to hire an Electrical Estimator to join our Estimating team. &nbsp;&nbsp;As our Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible to:&nbsp;<ul><li>Creating, Preparing, and Coordinating the preparation of full cost estimates for the Electrical and Instrumentation construction projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Review Estimates internally with Project Managers, Superintendents and externally with client presentations.&nbsp;</li><li>Efficiently manage &amp; control MOC requirements &amp; changes in project scopes.&nbsp;</li><li>Procure the materials to manage various electrical projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Generate project budgets, manage change orders &amp; close out projects when complete.&nbsp;</li><li>Reviewing specifications and design drawings to determine the total scope of work to be performed, material requirements and associated costs to be included in the final estimate price.&nbsp;</li><li>Examining and analyzing estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness of work pricing Preparing bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of potential sub-contractor bids for projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Determining cost recovery strategies.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintaining files of working documents to be used as backups for estimate figures as well as maintaining current and accurate information on supplier prices, price lists, unit prices and quantity estimates.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborating with other estimators, project managers and Procurement Managers and contractors to determine costs related to RFI’s and extra work orders.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications Required:&nbsp;<ul><li>Proficiency with AccuBid, Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings.</li><li>Must have a current Journeyman Electrician Ticket.</li><li>Minimum 2 years estimating experience.</li></ul>&nbsp;Why CDN?We are driven by values, fuelled by performance, and obsessed to impress.
