We are a globally recognized business celebrated for our tenacious full-service approach and relentless pursuit of industry dominance and excellence. &nbsp;At CDN, we understand that our employees are the biggest asset in our success, and we take great pride in selecting employees who are team oriented, driven and eager to succeed.&nbsp;Our growing company is currently looking to hire Journeyman and 1st – 4th Year Instrumentation Technicians to join our Maintenance team,&nbsp;based out of our Valleyview&nbsp;office.&nbsp;The ideal candidate is experienced in the Oil and Gas industry, with a safety conscious mentality, and are willing to learn and grow within CDN.&nbsp;AS OUR INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO:&nbsp;<ul><li>Adhere to all company environmental, heath, and safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Assist other Journeyman and Apprentices with the maintenance, replacement and installation of equipment.</li><li>Assist with calibrations and installations requiring instrumentation tubing.</li><li>Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment and specialty tools, such as tubing benders.</li><li>Administer more advanced calibration equipment such as Hart Communicators, and programs.</li><li>Handle basic Instrumentation Test Equipment and complete calibrations.</li><li>Work with more advanced meter(s) checking for continuity, resistance, voltages &amp; current readings.</li><li>Utilize more advanced systems such as compressor panels, RTU’s, BMS, line heaters, and production facility equipment.</li><li>Be aware of Gas Detection, LEL Detection and Fire Detection controllers and sensors.</li><li>Work on or around any ‘live’ process or equipment including isolation and the de-pressuring of any system while adhering to all safety procedures.</li><li>Repair equipment, with follow-up guidance from the Journeyman if required.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:&nbsp;<ul><li>Indentured 1st - 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Instrumentation Technician.</li><li>A valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract.</li><li>Valid H2S, First Aid, OSSA Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, CSO, and CSTS.</li><li>Experience in the Oil and Gas industry in construction or maintenance is considered an asset.</li><li>Ability to work in various working conditions ranging from outdoors to indoors in a variety of weather conditions and working from heights as needed.</li><li>A pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required prior to employment.</li></ul>WHY CDN?Our goal is to ensure CDN is the best place for you to work. Our unwavering dedication to deliver superior services defines us as Western Canada’s best provider of electrical &amp; instrumentation maintenance and major projects construction, industrial renewable/solar, automation, communications, fabrication, combustion &amp; emissions reduction, and measurement services.&nbsp; &nbsp;Our past successes, present opportunities, and future potential are fuelled by the investments we make: investments in our people, our partners, and our products.Join us and see why our commitment, determination, and our backbone of ambition are wrapped in three letters: CDN.Our growing company is currently looking to hire an Electrical Estimator to join our Estimating team. &nbsp;&nbsp;As our Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible to:&nbsp;<ul><li>Creating, Preparing, and Coordinating the preparation of full cost estimates for the Electrical and Instrumentation construction projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Review Estimates internally with Project Managers, Superintendents and externally with client presentations.&nbsp;</li><li>Efficiently manage &amp; control MOC requirements &amp; changes in project scopes.&nbsp;</li><li>Procure the materials to manage various electrical projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Generate project budgets, manage change orders &amp; close out projects when complete.&nbsp;</li><li>Reviewing specifications and design drawings to determine the total scope of work to be performed, material requirements and associated costs to be included in the final estimate price.&nbsp;</li><li>Examining and analyzing estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness of work pricing Preparing bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of potential sub-contractor bids for projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Determining cost recovery strategies.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintaining files of working documents to be used as backups for estimate figures as well as maintaining current and accurate information on supplier prices, price lists, unit prices and quantity estimates.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborating with other estimators, project managers and Procurement Managers and contractors to determine costs related to RFI’s and extra work orders.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications Required:&nbsp;<ul><li>Proficiency with AccuBid, Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings.</li><li>Must have a current Journeyman Electrician Ticket.</li><li>Minimum 2 years estimating experience.</li></ul>&nbsp;Why CDN?We are driven by values, fuelled by performance, and obsessed to impress.
