Commercial Transport Mechanic/Heavy Duty Mechanic

Objective:&nbsp;The Quarry Maintenance Lead is primarily responsible for the maintenance Planning and Inspections on the Quarry&nbsp;Fixed Plant crushing system. This position has direct reports of 2 mechanics and 1 millwright. Reports directly to the&nbsp;Preventative Maintenance Head and indirectly to the Quarry department. There will be additional support from the&nbsp;Plant Maintenance Coordinator, Plant Maintenance Supervisor and Plant pool millwrights in order to get shut down&nbsp;work completed.&nbsp;In carrying out the duties of this position, a primary objective is to improve the value of all Company assets at the&nbsp;Exshaw Cement plant through increased reliability and lower operating costs while allowing the operation of the&nbsp;equipment to meet production requirements within budget guidelines. As part of the management team, this position also has a contribution regarding the establishment of plant policies and&nbsp;procedures concerning fixed plant maintenance and general operations.
