Description:Essential Coil Well Service, a division of Element Technical Services, is currently seeking a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic for our Grande Prairie location.Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform thorough Preventative Maintenance inspections to all company assets while complying with all safety, environmental and operational policies, and procedures.</li><li>Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust complex hydraulic systems</li><li>Inspect, repair, and adjust diesel powered units</li><li>Diagnose defects and repair a wide variety of heavy-duty equipment</li><li>Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop and road calls when required</li></ul> &nbsp;Qualifications:<ul><li>Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician (Red Seal preferred)</li><li>Previous experience in complex hydraulic troubleshooting and repair would be an asset</li><li>A valid CVIP license is an asset or have the ability to apply for one</li><li>Previous oilfield, coil tubing and pumping experience would be an asset</li><li>Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with good driving record required</li><li>Computer diagnostic experience</li><li>Ability to work independently in a busy environment with shifting priorities</li><li>Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment</li><li>Clear and concise communication skills – both written and verbal</li></ul> &nbsp;Why Essential:<ul><li>Immediate benefits</li><li>Competitive hourly wage</li><li>RRSP matching and savings program</li><li>Employee fuel discount card</li><li>Experienced 24 hr. operations support</li><li>8 days on 6 days off shift rotation with overtime after 8 hours worked</li></ul>
