Bonnett’s Energy Corp. is looking for a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic or a 1st to 2nd year apprentice for our heavy equipment fleet in Grande Prairie, AB.Responsibilities<ul><li>Service and Repair heavy equipment.</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance.&nbsp; Update and maintain service records.</li><li>Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, determine repairs needed.</li><li>Test equipment for proper performance and ensure they are 100% field ready.</li><li>Repair to manufacturer’s specifications.</li><li>Organize and maintain shop, order parts and supplies.</li><li>Weekend work required on an as needed basis.</li><li>Maintain all documentation as per company and National Safety Code standards.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment.</li><li>May have to complete work on units in the field on occasion.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Journeyman Heavy Duty certification or 1st year to 2nd year apprentice</li><li>CVIP License an asset.</li><li>Valid Driver’s License, with clean driver’s abstract (Class 3 or 1 driver’s License preferred).</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and champion a strong safety culture.</li><li>Strong ethics and compliance to rules and regulations.</li><li>Proactive, able to think on your feet and have exceptional problem-solving skills.</li><li>Must have own tools.</li><li>Must be able to work independently and self-direct.</li></ul>We offer:<ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Group Benefits (Health, Dental and so much more)</li><li>Matching RRSP</li><li>Current equipment</li><li>A work environment dedicated to your safety</li><li>Safety training</li></ul>Wage to be determined based on experience.&nbsp; Pre-employment testing is in effect.Please respond to this ad with your resume and driver’s abstract.We thank all that apply; only those under consideration for the position will be contacted.
