We go beyond expectations — mitigating risks, reducing financial obligations, and maximizing value for our clients.Join SECURE, where we step up to make a meaningful difference in the industries we serve and the world we share.<h2>Your Opportunity at SECURE</h2>Join us as a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Apprentice, where you’ll gain hands-on experience maintaining and repairing a wide range of off-road equipmentThis role is based out of Saskatoon SK.&nbsp;<h2>The Team</h2>You'll learn from experienced professionals in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment and work toward becoming a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician<h2>Work Environment</h2>This position is a full-time permanent role and is shop-based but will require time outside in the yard and potential trips to the field.<h2>A Day in The Life</h2>As an apprentice, you’ll be mentored by skilled technicians.&nbsp; Your role will evolve as your skills grow, with opportunities to take on more responsibility.&nbsp; This role will assist in ensuring that all work in the shop is completed in a safe and timely fashion and that a clean, organized work site is maintained.&nbsp;Preventive Maintenance &amp; Repairs Assist in scheduling, performing, and learning routine maintenance like oil and filter changes, inspections, and diagnostics on heavy trucks, trailers, and off-road machinery.Hands-On Mechanical Skills Air &amp; hydraulic systemsPower &amp; drive train mechanicsSteering and suspension systemsHeavy equipment attachmentsOne-off repair solutions and diagnosticsShop &amp; Yard Operations Support general upkeep of the shop and yard, ensuring tools and equipment are properly handled and maintained in a clean, safe workspace.Team Leadership Shadowing Observe and learn how to lead and delegate workload effectively under the guidance of experienced supervisors.Safety First Be part of a team that lives and breathes safety.
