The PLC Specialist based in Nisku, AB will be part of the Ensign Drilling Solutions team responsible for the planning, design and delivery of drilling rig automation and performance systems. This position will use technical, analytical, and programming skills to assist in the development, deployment and maintenance of drilling rig automation systems and applications in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position will take a lead role on deployment projects, provide technical consulting, develop electrical controls systems, and provide remote technical support across global drilling divisions. Instrumentation Technician - Journeyman & Experienced Apprentices

Position Overview&nbsp;The RSS technician is responsible for maintaining Pacesetter’s Rotary Steerable fleet and assisting in daily MWD shop operations. The RSS technician will disassemble, assemble and ship RSS units. The role also assists with kit assembly and parts orders.
