CARE Industries is a Canadian-owned and operated company committed to achieving industry leadership through the design and manufacturing of superior Drilling, Well Servicing, Commercial, Structural, and Agricultural equipment and products, including but not limited to Complete Drilling Rig Packages, Service Rig Packages, Concrete Batch Plants, Structural Steel Building Fabrication, and much more. &nbsp;CARE Industries is currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated Journey person Welder/Fabricator to join our team and become a part of our growing history.Essential Job Functions:<ul><li>Manufacture equipment from layouts, blueprints and/or work orders</li><li>Perform welding processes: Stick, SMAW, GMAW (Metal/Flux Core, Mig)</li><li>Study engineering drawings and blueprints, determine the materials required, and plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently.</li><li>Construct patterns and templates as guides for layouts</li><li>Lay out reference points and patterns on heavy metal according to component specifications.</li><li>Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite.</li><li>Assemble and fit metal sections and plates to form complete units or subunits using tack welding, bolting, riveting or other methods.</li><li>Set up and operate various heavy-duty metal-working machines such as Hand Tools, brake presses, shears, cutting torches, grinders, Saws, and drills, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill or otherwise form heavy-metal components.</li><li>Structural welding, fabrication and assembly of complete rig packages and equipment</li><li>Clean and inspect all work before it leaves the shop.</li><li>Conduct all work in a safe and orderly manner.</li></ul>Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:<ul><li>Knowledge and operational experience of basic hand tools and other shop equipment</li><li>Basic layout skills</li><li>Organizational skills with a strong attention to detail</li><li>Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn.</li><li>Ability to work within a team environment.</li><li>Ability to take direction and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.</li><li>Must hold a valid class 5 Driver’s License</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>Alberta Ticketed Journey person or equivalent out of province experience/training/certification</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Wage Range $30.00 - $42.00/Hr</li><li>$1.00/Hr RRSP Matching after completion of 1 Year of continuous Service</li><li>Alberta Blue Cross Benefit Package including Extended Health care, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability &amp; Life Insurance, after Probationary period (90-day) completion.</li><li>Overtime after 8 Hours per day and/or 44 Hrs per week as required.</li></ul>
