Throughout the student's coop term, they will be responsible to support the preventative maintenance group at Exshaw to achieve high equipment availability and decrease unplanned stoppages. This support will be focused in the areas of condition monitoring of equipment (vibration, oil analysis, walk by inspections and stopped inspections), lubrication and preventive maintenance scheduling. This position is a 40 hour a week job based out of the Exshaw cement plant, the largest cement plant in Canada, and one that intends to shift the sourcing of 80% of its energy needs to low-carbon fuels within the next decade. Target start is January 2025.
