JOB SUMMARYLocated in SW Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Northern British Columbia - Floorhands are primarily responsible for handling drilling equipment on the drilling rig floor and keeping the rig and location clean and orderly.&nbsp;SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES<ul><li>Assists the other crewmembers in their duties, including maintenance and repair of rig equipment, and he/she is a general all-around worker on the rig. There are usually two Floorhands on a crew, although smaller rigs may have only one. This is a manual labour position that involves making connections on the rig floor to connect and disconnect pipe smoothly and efficiently, assist with casing, and general housekeeping around the rig site.</li><li>Be prepared to work on a rotating shift schedule that operates twenty-four hours a day</li><li>Be able to work safely and quickly, and think ahead to the next procedure</li><li>Be in good physical condition (strength, coordination and agility are necessary)</li><li>Enjoy working as a member of a team and mentoring fellow crew members new to the rig</li><li>Committed to working remote operations involving camps, when required</li></ul>TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES<ul><li>Mechanical inclination</li><li>Safety minded</li></ul>BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES<ul><li>Proven ability to work safely and work with team members</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Ability to mentor less mechanically inclined personnel new to the rig</li></ul>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE<ul><li>Previous labour experience and/or experience as a floorhand (oil and gas industry preferred)</li><li>Associated training tickets for region and activity. Floorhands (Western Canada)

We are currently looking for Downhole Tool Hands in Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan to join our our rapidly growing Operations team. This role will be responsible for running downhole frac tools on Coil Tubing, Service Rigs and Drilling Rigs in areas where Kobold and its clients operate. This position will also ensure the quality of the services provided meet company and client expectations, as well as adhere to company policies and procedures. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and energetic individual looking for a career with a fast-growing company.Core Responsibilities:<ul><li>Providing field services related to Kobold’s downhole completions tooling:</li><li>Job logistics including transporting and towing tool trailers from job locations.</li><li>Assembly of tooling and running equipment.</li><li>Adapt equipment configurations to client’s needs.</li><li>Operations problem solving.</li><li>Tooling configuration to client specifications.</li><li>Follow field operations and safety practices at all times.</li><li>Provide continuous feedback to the office.</li><li>Must be able to work long hours and away from home.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word and Outlook).</li><li>High level of professionalism.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills.</li><li>Understand downhole tool operations.</li><li>Provide a well maintained, professional looking truck that can legally be used to pull 4,545 kg (10,020 lb) work trailers (proof of insurance is required).</li></ul>Training and Experience:<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of downhole tool experience.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of service rig, frac, coil-tubing or wireline experience.</li><li>Valid WHMIS, H2S Alive, CSO and Emergency First-Aid certificates.</li></ul>Additional Requirements:<ul><li>Able to lift a minimum of 23 kg (50 lb) on a consistent basis.</li><li>Clean drivers abstract is required.</li></ul>
