Would you like to work with well-established inspection technologies and hundreds of terabytes of data gathered over 20 years from around the world, using physics knowledge and analytics approaches to derive solutions for safety in the Oil and Gas industry? &nbsp;Partner with the best &nbsp;As a Physicist Ultrasonics you will be responsible for researching and developing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technologies for pipeline inspection, including ultrasound, magnetics, and guided waves. Your primary focus will be leading the development of novel sensor technology, with hands-on involvement in simulation, testing, and prototyping.As a Physicist, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>Developing commercialized pipeline inspection tools.</li><li>Conducting simulations and advanced modeling of ultrasonic guided waves using specialized software for Finite Element Methods (FEM).</li><li>Designing and supervising the manufacturing of test pieces for model validation.</li><li>Developing and maintaining manufacturing and testing procedures.</li><li>Supporting commercial operations by collaborating with business teams and providing technical support.</li><li>Collaborating with team members across disciplines and departments.</li><li>Advancing R&amp;D with new sensing and inspection technologies.</li><li>Conducting hands-on laboratory testing and reporting.</li></ul>Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:<ul><li>Have a Bachelors degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.</li><li>Possess foundational knowledge in acoustics and wave propagation.</li><li>Be acquainted with simulation and modeling “Finite Element Method (FEM)” preferred</li><li>Have experience with ANSYS or other multi-physics simulation programs preferred .</li><li>Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in conducting experiments, data analysis, and interpretation preferred.</li><li>Be able to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary engineering teams preferred.</li><li>Have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills for effective presentation and reporting</li><li>Be proficient in MATLAB or Python preferred.</li><li>Have knowledge of ultrasonic, and other NDT technologies preferred.</li><li>Posses experience in non-destructive testing and performing laboratory experiments with ultrasonic transducers preferred.</li></ul> Work in a way that works for you &nbsp;We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
