The hours of work are Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday &amp; Sunday: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.&nbsp;Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, Lead Hand and/or Shift Lead, the Wellhead Assembly Technician is responsible for assembly, testing and painting of wellhead equipment.Key Position Functions:<ul><li>Assemble, test and paint of the following wellhead equipment. (International, Domestic, Thermal, Conventional).</li><li>Pick and distribute material for assembly, storage or shipping.</li><li>Assist with stocking requirements by ensuring products are properly identified and put away.</li><li>Organize and maintain the work area, including maintenance/inspections of equipment, product storage containers and racking.</li><li>Responsible for inventory assignment for both warehouse and order selection.</li><li>Participate in safety meetings, monthly safety inspections.</li><li>Support with customer stack-ups.</li><li>Assist with the shipping area as required.</li><li>Participate in rotational on call schedule.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Stream-Flo Group Guiding Principles in terms of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations or policies.</li><li>Assist with shop housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.</li><li>Perform other duties or responsibilities as determined or assigned by Supervisor/Manager.</li></ul>Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:&nbsp;<ul><li>High School Diploma, supplemented with 1-2 years of related experience.</li><li>Mechanical assembly/repair experience.</li><li>Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset.</li><li>Computer skills using MS Office or ERP system.</li><li>Knowledge of Stream-Flo Industries and/or competitors’ equipment would be an asset.</li><li>Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of equipment use and field applications.</li><li>A strong commitment to workplace safety.</li><li>Good communication (oral and written).</li><li>Detail oriented, strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills.</li><li>Self-motivated with good organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li><li>Valid driver license along with a reliable vehicle.</li></ul>The Stream-Flo Group of Companies, consisting of Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. and Master Flo Valve Inc., are privately owned and operated Canadian manufacturers of wellhead, production gate valve and check valve equipment, as well as chokes, specialty control valves and supporting actuation.
