Our client, a major oil and gas company, is looking for an experienced Gas Plant Operator for their facility near Rocky Mountain House. A minimum of 5 year's experience working with gas plant refrigeration process. &nbsp;The successful candidate will be local to the Rocky Mountain House area as no camp will be provided. Responsibilities&nbsp; Duties include the following, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Manage and maintain day-to-day operation of oil wells, single well batteries, centralized processing facilities, solution gas gathering and compression</li><li>Compliance with production accounting utilizing PVR</li><li>Contribute to successful daily execution of the business plan (ie. production volume targets, health, safety, environment, OPEX, reliability) by identifying opportunities to maximize production, minimize operating costs and eliminate downtime</li><li>Provide equipment maintenance and troubleshooting</li><li>Perform housekeeping, performance monitoring and maintenance activities</li><li>Provide training and mentoring for team members to assist in completion of assigned production tasks that required additional competencies or in-depth problem solving</li></ul> Qualifications&nbsp;<ul><li>Gas plant / refridge experience</li><li>Minimum 5+ years of oil and gas operating experience</li><li>Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment</li><li>Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in an unsupervised work environment</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong computer skills (proficient in MS Office Suite)</li><li>Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License - drivers abstract is required</li></ul> Additional requirements include:<ul><li>Valid&nbsp;First Aid &amp; H2S</li><li>Clean driving abstract required</li><li>Capable of passing pre-employment drug &amp; alcohol test</li><li>Must be able to work with no or little supervision, as well as within a team</li></ul>We thank all applicants for their interest in working with Roska DBO and this position; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.&nbsp; Roska DBO Inc. is a customer-focused operations company with a 20+ year’s track record offering expertise in production and equipment solutions on well sites and facilities.
