Ensure we are maintaining proper levels of inventory of each material and do not have deficits of material when needed to meet our customers’ expectations.What’s in it For You:<ul><li>A flexible and independent work environment that fosters a good work-life balance.</li><li>Access to best-in-class resources, tools, and technology.</li><li>Thrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture and empowers its employees through continuous improvement.</li><li>Employee Resource Groups for employees.</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package that includes extended health benefits, vision, dental, prescription drugs, travel insurance, life insurance, and more!</li><li>Company-paid pension plan, employee and family assistance program, paid vacation, sick and personal days.</li></ul>What will you do:<ul><li>Run MRP and determine when and how much material to order.</li><li>Place purchase orders against vendors.</li><li>Place stock transfer orders against internal source plants</li><li>Update inbound bulk delivery shared calendar as needed.</li><li>Maintain proper inventory levels of each material (Days on hand inventory)</li><li>Monitor fluctuations in inventory or demand and adjust order planning as needed (Avoid E&amp;O, stranded inventory).</li><li>Produce reports and maintain electronic databases (inactive inventory, DoH, supplier list, material shortages, etc.).</li><li>Participate in completion of corporate objectives (OGSM)</li><li>Calculate and track savings.</li><li>Participate in 5S and TPM initiatives.</li><li>Utilize APOC to code and approve invoices.</li><li>Follow up on delivery of purchased goods and enter confirmations in purchase orders and STO’s.</li><li>Comply with all regulatory requirements and company policies.</li><li>Create and lead initiatives on materials project to reduce cost or improve efficiency.</li></ul>Position Details:<ul><li>Candidate must reside in Leduc, AB or the surrounding area.</li><li>Immigration Sponsorship is not available for this role</li><li>This position works Monday to Friday.</li><li>This position is a safety-sensitive role and pre-employment medical testing will be required.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma.</li><li>0-2 years’ experience in manufacturing or planning roles<ul><li>New graduates encouraged to apply.</li></ul></li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access database</li><li>Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritization.</li><li>Good oral and written communication skills, will be required to work with vendors, carriers, internal customers.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>SAP experience and/or knowledge</li></ul>About ChampionX:ChampionX is a global leader in providing chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry.
