They work as trusted partners, creating better solutions and experiences for their customers, communities, and colleagues.OverviewThe primary objective of the Aggregates Production Lead Hand is to lead and coordinate the Aggregate Production Crushing/Screening Crews in accordance with the safety, environmental, quality and production targets for the Saskatoon Aggregates Market AreaResponsibilities:Safety Culture:<ul><li>Ensure the safe and effective operation of the production shift employees.</li><li>Develop and instill a site level safety culture through consistent engagement with employees and contractors with an objective of “zero” harm</li><li>Lead daily toolbox meetings to demonstrate commitment to workplace safety</li><li>Assist in the preparation for and participation in periodic health &amp; safety site audits; and assist in the administration of the site Contractor Safety Management program, by completing site orientations, where required, and regularly auditing employee and contractor performance to ensure compliance to applicable local and regional health &amp; safety policies.</li></ul>Production Management:<ul><li>Assist in production planning, driving, tracking and documenting production performance by completing daily and weekly plans.</li><li>Represent the production department when coordinating and organizing the teams work with other departments.</li><li>Provide leadership and ensure communication within a team environment to achieve the production objectives.</li></ul>Environmental Management:<ul><li>Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of the site.</li><li>Assist in preparation for and participate in environmental site audits; and ensure all direct reports comply with operational standards.</li></ul>Relationship with Others:<ul><li>Reports to Production Supervisor</li><li>Supervises site production and maintenance for Aggregate production equipment</li><li>Works closely with the Production Supervisor, Operations Engineer, Area Safety Representatives, Land and Environmental Staff and the QA/QC team.</li><li>Collaborates with the maintenance team on the execution of mechanical and electrical maintenance on mobile equipment</li></ul>Specific Accountabilities:<ul><li>Safety: Provide a safe working environment for all employees via Daily Toolboxes, FLRA’s, HA’s, VPC, Near Miss, Safety Inspections, Safety Meetings, Plant Pride</li><li>Production/Quality: Meet the objectives via Daily production sheets, Primary Crusher report, Downtime reports, Maintenance management, complying with project QA/QC plan</li><li>Ensure cooperation and teamwork within the production teams.</li><li>Promote good relations and communication between the logistics, maintenance and production teams</li><li>Coordinate training for the production employees.</li><li>Ensure productivity, housekeeping and quality of work standards are maintained within the production department.</li><li>Achieve personal and departmental goals.</li></ul>Reporting and relief:<ul><li>Report on the team’s shift activities and observations, safety meetings and production level. Provide coverage for the Operations Manager and Production Supervisor. Control Systems Technician (Programmer)

CARE Industries is a Canadian owned and operated company committed to achieving industry leadership through the design and manufacturing of superior Drilling, Well Servicing, Commercial, Structural, and Agricultural equipment, and products including but not limited to: Complete Drilling Rig Packages, Service Rig Packages, Concrete Batch Plants, Structural Steel Building Fabrication, and much more.  CARE Industries is currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated Plasma Table Operator to join our team and become a part of our growing history.Essential Job Functions:<ul><li>Layout, prepare, and cut various parts from plate steel.</li><li>Measure and input dimensions into Plasma cutter</li><li>Setup and operate CNC Plasma cutting table and nesting software.</li><li>Follow proper procedures for plasma cutting to optimize cut quality.</li><li>Load material onto the machine bed, unload finished product, and remove remnants.</li><li>The operator will be required to learn and do the maintenance as required.</li><li>Perform regular maintenance and adjustments on machinery to achieve optimal performance.</li><li>Using overhead crane and forklift, move materials in/out of shop and position on cutting bed.</li><li>Measure cut parts for QC/accuracy.</li><li>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.</li></ul>Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:<ul><li>Completion of High School/High School Diploma or equivalent experience</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and drawings.</li><li>General knowledge of material handling equipment (overhead crane) is an asset.</li><li>Working knowledge of general computer programs strongly preferred</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>Prior Experience and /or Education as a Plasma Table Operator is required.</li><li>Knowledge of Water jet, and Laser cutting machines or other CNC equipment is an asset.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Wage Range $20.00 - $25.00/Hr</li><li>$1.00/Hr RRSP Matching after completion of 1 Year of continuous Service</li><li>Alberta Blue Cross Benefit Package including Extended Health care, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability &amp; Life Insurance, after Probationary period (90-day) completion.</li><li>Overtime after 8 Hours per day and/or 44 Hrs per week as required.</li></ul>
