CARE Industries is a Canadian owned and operated company committed to achieving industry leadership through the design and manufacturing of superior Drilling, Well Servicing, Commercial, Structural, and Agricultural equipment, and products including but not limited to: Complete Drilling Rig Packages, Service Rig Packages, Concrete Batch Plants, Structural Steel Building Fabrication, and much more. &nbsp;CARE Industries is currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated Plasma Table Operator to join our team and become a part of our growing history.Essential Job Functions:<ul><li>Layout, prepare, and cut various parts from plate steel.</li><li>Measure and input dimensions into Plasma cutter</li><li>Setup and operate CNC Plasma cutting table and nesting software.</li><li>Follow proper procedures for plasma cutting to optimize cut quality.</li><li>Load material onto the machine bed, unload finished product, and remove remnants.</li><li>The operator will be required to learn and do the maintenance as required.</li><li>Perform regular maintenance and adjustments on machinery to achieve optimal performance.</li><li>Using overhead crane and forklift, move materials in/out of shop and position on cutting bed.</li><li>Measure cut parts for QC/accuracy.</li><li>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.</li></ul>Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:<ul><li>Completion of High School/High School Diploma or equivalent experience</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and drawings.</li><li>General knowledge of material handling equipment (overhead crane) is an asset.</li><li>Working knowledge of general computer programs strongly preferred</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>Prior Experience and /or Education as a Plasma Table Operator is required.</li><li>Knowledge of Water jet, and Laser cutting machines or other CNC equipment is an asset.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>Wage Range $20.00 - $25.00/Hr</li><li>$1.00/Hr RRSP Matching after completion of 1 Year of continuous Service</li><li>Alberta Blue Cross Benefit Package including Extended Health care, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability &amp; Life Insurance, after Probationary period (90-day) completion.</li><li>Overtime after 8 Hours per day and/or 44 Hrs per week as required.</li></ul>

Plasma Table Operator (Day & Afternoon Shifts)

Warehouse Team oversees the delivery and receivership of our innovative energy products.&nbsp; We pack and process orders for global on-site and off-shore locations to ensure accurate and successful delivery. &nbsp;Partner with the best As a Warehouse &amp; Yard Associate, you will receive inbound material from suppliers, perform Shipping/Receiving functions, and maintain an orderly yard. You will also assist with the completion of all paperwork associated with these tasks, performing cycle counts and related computer work. This position may include evening and/or weekend work with frequent overtime required. In addition, you would need to work outdoors under ANY conditions. (heat, cold, snow, rain) &nbsp;In this role, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>Reading and interpreting instructions, correspondence and memos.</li><li>Applying concepts of basic math skills to inventory cycle counts and creating &amp; maintaining Excel spreadsheets.</li><li>Operating a large forklift (PIT) while loading and unloading tubular freight (Long round material about 17-35 feet in length)</li><li>Moving up to 50 pounds and adhering to all safety regulations related to the tasks.</li></ul> Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:<ul><li>Have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Have previous experience with logistics and inventory control in the oil and gas industry.</li><li>Have previous experience in a warehouse setting, preferably including moving of tubular freight.</li><li>Have experience operating a forklift.</li><li>Have experience with cycle counts and basic inventory control functions.</li><li>Have aptitude for Microsoft Office (Excel) and preferably previous experience using SAP.</li><li>Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks.</li><li>Be able to work some evenings and/or weekends, with frequent opportunities for overtime.</li></ul>Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.<ul><li>Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Rotating on call needed, may require weekend and overtime)</li></ul> Working with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
