External Candidates - please apply with the Apply Now button.The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling, stamping, and testing Surface Safety Systems products in accordance with work order requirements.&nbsp;Key position functions include:<ul><li>Responsible to ensure assembly and testing meet work order requirements.</li><li>Paint and/or coat products.</li><li>Test parts, apply name plate and/or stamping.</li><li>Identify non-conformances by separation and/or marking.</li><li>Check all calibration is accurate and re-calibrate as necessary.</li><li>Operate various engraving systems.</li><li>Maintain workstation and equipment to an acceptable Stream-Flo standard of cleanliness.</li><li>Follow all work order and process traveler requirements and fill out job sheets or record time using ERP system.</li><li>Report all machine, crane and hoist problems in the proper maintenance logs and notify Maintenance Department and/or lead hand/supervisor of a down time situation.</li><li>Ensure processes and testing operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner.</li><li>Perform other duties assigned by Lead Hand/Supervisor.</li></ul>Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:<ul><li>High school diploma with a mechanical aptitude.</li><li>Related assembly, testing and painting experience an asset.</li><li>Mechanical assembly/repair experience an asset.</li><li>Read and understand engineering drawings, technical documents and flow diagrams an asset.</li><li>Forklift experience an asset.</li><li>Computer skills using MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel); knowledge of ERP systems an asset.</li><li>Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.</li><li>Detail oriented and a strong work ethic.</li><li>Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and organizational skills.</li><li>Self-motivated and ability to prioritize.</li><li>Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team environment.</li></ul>The Stream-Flo Group of Companies, consisting of Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. and Master Flo Valve Inc., are privately owned and operated Canadian manufacturers of wellhead, production gate valve and check valve equipment, as well as chokes, specialty control valves and supporting actuation.
