This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefit package.STRUCTUREThis position will report to the Manager, Projects and Proposals – Air Emissions.SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITYThe Junior Estimator will work closely with the Manager of Projects and Proposals to assist with seamless operations throughout division by executing the following:<ul><li>Responsible for the preparation of preliminary planning and estimating</li><li>Coordinates preliminary designs of ducting products</li><li>Recording and comparing bids from multiple vendors and subcontractors</li><li>Responsible for writing Scope of Work (RFQs) specifications and bid pricing spreadsheet</li><li>Responsible for soliciting vendor quotes in conjunction with Procurement</li><li>Required to attend pre-bid and design meetings</li><li>Assists with Change Orders to operations as required</li><li>Ensures company procedures and policies are adhered to and followed</li><li>Assist with preparation of proposals</li><li>Assist in responding to Bid Clarification questions</li><li>Assist in finding ways to reduce costs of equipment and supplies</li><li>Resolve or elevates issues in a timely fashion.</li><li>Assist with automation, incorporating new software and working with existing platforms</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS<ul><li>Strong math skills</li><li>Proficient understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances and specifications</li><li>Basic 2-D analytic CAD skills.</li><li>Ability to prepare customized estimate proposals for specific projects</li><li>Ability to handle multiple assignments and due dates.</li><li>Ability to read client project specifications and highlight applicable estimate details.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Highly proficient in Excel. Junior Estimator

POSITION SUMMARYProject Controllers are responsible for the overall delivery of project controls including planning and scheduling, estimating, cost management, trend and change management, progress measurement and evaluation, reporting, and project accounting. The Project Controller will provide technical and management support to the field construction operations team for a progress monitoring tool. POSITION DETAILS<ul><li>Supporting on Cenovus Foster Creek project</li><li>8/6 shift</li><li>Remote work</li></ul>CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES<ul><li>Prepare complex reports in Excel for internal and external distribution</li><li>Provide technical support for various in-house progress tracking and scheduling applications</li><li>Provide support of the creation and maintenance of the project schedule and provides ongoing updates to project stakeholders</li><li>Maintain and evaluate project progress including earned value management on a regular basis</li><li>Implement the cost management process including assisting with budget and chart of account development</li><li>Review and validate production quantity and invoices</li><li>Assist with change management functions with creation of proposals and field</li><li>Continuously improve project administrative processes and procedures to enhance efficiencies for the projects.
