<h2>Job Description</h2>Essential Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Arrange for trucking or shipping/receiving services;</li><li>Prepare records of goods shipped and received;</li><li>Use JDE and TAT to record parts shipped and received and look up purchase orders and part locations;</li><li>Ensure orders are correct and ready to be packed and/or shipped;</li><li>Exercise a sense of time, organization and urgency;</li><li>Work with others to ensure products are received and shipped in a timely and efficient manner;</li><li>Inspect and verify outgoing and incoming goods against invoices or other documents;</li><li>Operate forklift and/or loader to load, unload, transport and store goods;</li><li>Conduct daily forklift and/or loader walk-arounds and complete necessary checklists;</li><li>Required to be on-call on a rotational basis on weekends and/or evenings where might be required to work alone;</li><li>Disassemble returned equipment and inspect and record damages;</li><li>Able to work in all-weather yard and shop working environments;</li><li>Able to occasionally work from heights using a ladder;</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience):<ul><li>High school or equivalent required;</li><li>Forklift &amp; Crane certification is considered an asset; however, in-house training is available if required;</li><li>Knowledge and experience with warehousing and industrial equipment an asset;</li><li>Strong communication skills (verbal and written).</li></ul>Technical Requirements (Software or Program Knowledge Needed):<ul><li>Microsoft Office application knowledge an asset;</li><li>Databases knowledge an asset.</li><li>JDE</li><li>TAT</li><li>ONBASE</li></ul>Competencies Required:<ul><li>Integrity and Trust;</li><li>Customer Focus;</li><li>Ethics and Values;</li><li>Action Oriented;</li><li>Functional/Technical Skills.</li></ul>HSE Requirements (Training and Physical Ability Needs):<ul><li>Shop environment orientation (exits, fire extinguishers, first aid &amp; eyewash stations, spill kits, propane storage) and yard environment (building locations, processes);</li><li>Squatting, bending, reaching, and walking (further details to be reviewed on JHA);</li><li>PPE training for possible noise exposure, mists/vapors, gloves, safety glasses and steel toed boots;</li><li>New hire employee HSE orientation;</li><li>Material Handling procedure NQI-1022 training;</li><li>NOV in-house forklift and overhead/jib training if required;</li><li>WHMIS training.</li></ul>Preferred method of application and to view all opportunities visit:&nbsp; <a href="https://www.nov.com/Careers" target="_blank">https://www.nov.com/Careers</a>NOV is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination or Harassment of Any Kind: NOV is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunities for everyone and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
