Roles and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure that customer orders are shipped on time and according to the due date.</li><li>Manage deliveries by organizing loads, locating and contracting trucks and searching for the best truck rates.</li><li>Check Purchase Orders against incoming material and customer orders if applicable.</li><li>Complete bill of lading according to picking tickets and identify discrepancies in quantities and weights.</li><li>Accurately receive inbound material while maintaining traceability of product.</li><li>Liaise with plant supervisor to ensure proper scheduling of orders for late/early pick-ups and deliveries.</li><li>Recognize schedule of internal process to develop scheduled deliveries.</li><li>Provide Contractors with registration and sign-in directions.</li><li>Investigate inventory discrepancies in the warehouse.</li><li>Provide support to various departments including administration.</li><li>Provide direction to customers and drivers on plant safety policies and procedures when picking up and delivering loads</li></ul>

Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you would be responsible for ensuring that all incoming and out-going deliveries to/from the facility are received, inspected and managed efficiently and accurately.ACCOUNTABILITIES:Role accountabilities include, but are not limited to:&nbsp;General Labour<ul><li>Utilize forklifts and cranes as required.</li><li>Expedite Argus Product Inventory Bins to corresponding machines.</li><li>Check and maintain existing and incoming stock levels of raw material and final product.</li><li>Complete documentation for work carried out. &nbsp; Route the product and related documentation to the appropriate location once completed.</li><li>Participate in inventory control activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Crate building/ordering to assist shipper as needed.</li><li>Clean and maintain the work area and equipment used daily.&nbsp;</li><li>Safely manoeuvre raw material/ finished product within the manufacturing plant. &nbsp;Handle materials and equipment with care to ensure raw materials are not damaged while being transported. &nbsp;Report any concerns to the Plant Supervisor.</li><li>Pulls protectors from crates, applies them to jobs in AX, and puts them with the parts.</li><li>Use measuring tools as required.</li><li>Forklift use to empty garbage/steel chip bins.&nbsp;</li></ul>Shipping and Receiving<ul><li>Covers Shipping and Receiving in the absence of the Shipper/ Receiver.</li><li>Interpret shipping information on work orders and complete shipping instructions, as required.</li><li>Receive all shipments of all deliveries into the facility:&nbsp;</li><li>Open, unload and inspect incoming shipments.</li><li>Review documents to ensure all required paperwork is received prior to offloading materials.</li><li>Receive and process receiving/work order correspondence efficiently in AX.</li><li>Transfer material and products to required departments/ employees.</li><li>Ship completed products to customers:</li><li>Inspect, prepare, mark, weigh and box outgoing shipments/ orders for customers.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare courier documentation and schedule courier/shipments between customers and suppliers.</li><li>Ship as per Sales Order requirements.</li><li>Assist with loading and offloading items from shipping trucks daily, using a forklift or crane as required.</li><li>Works with external courier services to negotiate the best rates for Argus machine for all shipping requirements.</li><li>Receive all incoming consumables and enter into AX. &nbsp;Put consumables away.</li></ul>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>Experience in shipping and receiving an asset.</li><li>Machine shop inspection experience an asset.</li><li>High School Diploma.</li><li>Valid class 5 driver’s license.</li><li>Forklift experience an asset.</li><li>Competent using computer software including Microsoft Office, Adobe and Dynamics AX.</li><li>General knowledge of products and services in relation to the oil and gas industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safe work practices, Quality Assurance requirements, and Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing) principles and the ability to impart that knowledge to others.</li><li>All new hires are required to be Fully Vaccinated at time of hire or have an approved exception before commencing work for Argus.&nbsp;</li></ul>WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Work is outside over 50%, variable temperatures.</li><li>Climbing ladders to heights.</li><li>Working wearing personal protective equipment 80% of work time.</li><li>Lifting up to 30 lbs. without mechanical assistance.</li><li>Office environment, extended sitting &amp; computer use.</li><li>Working wearing personal protective as required.</li></ul>At Argus, our core values are more than just words, they’re a way of life.
