Roska DBO is currently looking for a Welder’s Helper / Shop Hand to support our busy Pipe Fabrication Shop in Grande Prairie. This is a local, shop-based position (no field work required) and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.&nbsp; Core Responsibilities:<ul><li>Mainly assisting welding but occasionally assisting with&nbsp;pipefitting, and hydro testing crews in material preparation and job setup</li><li>Support the assembly of process piping, valves, and components</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shop and yard</li><li>Assist with the upkeep of rental and mobile yard equipment</li><li>Help with receiving materials, completing paperwork, and notifying supervisors of deliveries</li><li>Perform minor painting and other general labor tasks as required</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Related oil and gas experience strongly preferred</li><li>Valid H2S Alive and First Aid certification</li><li>Must pass a pre-employment Drug &amp; Alcohol test</li><li>Valid Class 5 driver’s license (GDL may be considered)</li><li>Physically fit and able to lift and work long hours when needed</li><li>Familiarity with hand and power tools (drills, impacts, wrenches, etc.)</li><li>Good communication and organizational skills</li><li>Strong work ethic with the ability to take direction and work both independently and in a team</li><li>Forklift or skid steer certification considered an asset</li><li>Must be legally eligible to work in Canada</li></ul> Roska DBO Inc. is a customer-focused operations company with a 30 year track record offering expertise in production and equipment solutions on well sites and facilities. Welder's Helper / Shop Hand

Position Overview&nbsp;The Shop Hand is responsible to maintain Pacesetter’s state-of-the art warehouse and the day-to-day operations of Pacesetter’s Measurement While Drilling (MWD) facility. The Shop Hand will maintain/fix any issues with the MWD kits &amp; components and update the MWD Shop Manager with what tools or kits are available for use in the field.Responsibilities• Servicing and inventory of mud pulse kits and equipment&nbsp;• Testing failed components from the field (transducers, RFD’s, laptops)&nbsp;• Providing hot shot service to the field by running tools and equipment out to job sites; additional compensation provided for each hot shot&nbsp;• Filling out parts orders and updating PRIME (Pacesetter’s proprietary online data/tracking system)&nbsp;• Maintaining warehouse and lab space for cleanliness and efficiency in operations&nbsp;• Running errands for the shop (pick up orders from suppliers, Greyhound, Air Canada, etc.)&nbsp;• After hours on call for shop&nbsp;• Other duties as required to maintain the shop and ensure we are providing top-notch customer service to our clients&nbsp;Education, Experience, Technical Qualifications&nbsp;• High School diploma required&nbsp;• Experience in a warehouse or shop environment would be a definite asset&nbsp;• Valid driver’s license Additional Skills&nbsp;• Proven strong customer service focus.&nbsp;• Strong communication skills (verbal &amp; written)&nbsp;• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills&nbsp;• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks&nbsp;• Positive attitude; willingness to do what is needed and accommodate fluctuating activity levelsIf you are interested in applying for this position, please send your cover letter and resume with the subject line “Shop Hand Position” to <a href="mailto:careers@pacesetterdirectional.ca" target="_blank">careers@pacesetterdirectional.ca</a>&nbsp;
