This role actively contributes to standard operating procedures, hazard assessments, safety programs, and environmental protection initiatives. Given the high level of customer interaction, strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional service are essential.<h2>The Team</h2>Located at our Mitsue full-service terminal, this fast-paced facility offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.<h2>Work Environment</h2>This position will be a 12-hour shift, 7 on / 7 off with a rotating shift of days and nights.<h2>A Day in The Life</h2>The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:&nbsp;<ul><li>Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the facility</li><li>Responsible for truck unloading, oil emulsion and water &amp; vac trucks</li><li>Responsible for tank treating and processing waste streams</li><li>Participating in waste processing, waste and mud tank operation, shaker &amp; centrifuge operations and solids treating</li><li>Responsible and accountable for the receipt, terminal storage and transportation of crude oil while adhering to Measurement &amp; Crude Oil Quality compliance</li><li>Managing ongoing water injection, filter changing and pump maintenance</li><li>Conducting treatment of solids on the waste pad</li><li>Conducting boiler operations, testing and steam system operations</li><li>Ensuring that all corporate compliance programs are adhered to</li><li>Submitting truck tickets summary, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the office</li><li>Participates in the Health &amp; Safety Management System (HSMS)</li><li>Waste plant operation (ensuring solids processing is meeting or exceeding landfill criteria and solids testing)</li><li>Following water injection SOP’s and best practices to protect the disposal well integrity</li><li>General maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe</li></ul><h2>Skills, Experience &amp; Qualifications</h2>The successful candidate will have:&nbsp;<ul><li>A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Operational experience in waste processing, oil treating or water injection is considered a strong asset&nbsp;</li><li>Specialty training in boilers, treaters, pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and loaders is considered an asset</li><li>Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS and TDG</li><li>A strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment</li><li>Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure strategic communication with multiple stakeholders</li><li>Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues</li><li>Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices</li><li>A valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing</li></ul><h2>What's in it for you</h2>At SECURE, we are committed to fostering growth and continuous improvement—for our employees, customers, partners, and the communities where we operate.
