This person has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast.</p><h3><strong>The Team</strong></h3><p>The Drilling Management Apps team focuses on designing and developing high-quality software and infrastructure solutions that provide value to our customers. The team operates with a dedication to Collaboration, Innovation, Customer Focus, and Quality. Our team is part of the DataHub department. DataHub is part of the R&amp;D organization that works on cloud-based applications and services, and we support external customers, internal customers and the product and sales department.</p><h3><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Guide an agile development team using a variety of technologies to develop features and functionality for our core DataHub products</li><li>Participate in all aspects of the software development and delivery processes, including defining requirements, system design, estimating, code reviews, unit tests, documentation, testing, deployment automation and monitoring tools</li><li>Perform root-cause analysis for issues involving Pason DataHub products</li><li>Work with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and User Experience teams to deliver features and functionality that provide exceptional user experience</li><li>Be a team player and use your skills to help the team get better</li><li>Provide technical leadership by leading design discussions and having a working knowledge of overall product at a system integration level. &nbsp;Ensure new features fit with the overall system architecture.</li><li>Ensure project and team success by mentoring and provide guidance to other developers</li><li>Ability to be parachuted into a complex software area, ramp up within a short period of time, and start delivering on code changes.</li></ul><h3><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Expertise in developing enterprise-level web services in Java and using frameworks like SpringBoot</li><li>Hands-on work with system architecture and designs</li><li>Familiarity with Message Queue technologies in a high data-throughput distributed system&nbsp;</li><li>Exposure to data streaming technologies like Kafka and Kinesis</li><li>Solid object-oriented design/implementation background</li><li>Experience leading a product from concept to prototype and implementation</li><li>Experience with other languages like C# or Python</li><li>Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/Flow and HTML5</li><li>Experience with interacting with RESTful backend microservices</li><li>Experience with Subversion, GIT, or background in an equivalent source code management tool is an asset</li><li>Experience with web-based technologies and frameworks</li><li>Experience with Linux OS.
