<h2>Job Description</h2>Job Summary:The Buyer/Planner is responsible for the documentation control requirements of the production/manufacturing department.&nbsp; Maintaining product flow through the facility and purchase orders related to manufacturing work orders.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Analyze MRP requirements and release orders to production</li><li>Prepare complete manufacturing order documentation packages including drawings and inspection reports</li><li>Monitor material inventory requirements</li><li>Track progress of production</li><li>Review and identify factors which affect schedules</li><li>Review open manufacturing order statuses and confirm documentation compliance with SOX</li><li>Maintain accurate manufacturing order schedule with Production Supervisor</li><li>Prepare and process all purchase requirements relating to outside process services of the manufactured items and assist in the purchase of component raw materials and supplies as required.
